My personal option was thatThe food is Absolutely mediocre. The chorizo skillet was so bland the streak skillet was super bland. The pancakes were the only decent thing. Service was good and the waitress was super patient with us

Delicious food! Got the apple pecan pancakes and mango passion smoothie. Chilaquiles were also delicious.

Leaves much to be desired. When they messed up because they didn’t reserve a table big enough for the party we requested, they put us at a smaller table where we all could not fit. When the manager was asked to accommodate us at a different table, she stated that it was not her who talked to us on the phone and it was not her problem that the person we talked to make a reservation to didn’t make the proper note in the number of people. No apologies, no attempt to fix the situation, just rude… we didn’t get a begged table and had to leave. Never coming back there again.

What can I say about this little gem? We were greeted very warmly upon answering the establishment. We were seated immediately and welcomed with waters. Not long after the server greeted us and she was extremely pleasant. We told her that we were from out of town and she was sure to be extremely helpful and patient. We purchased the strawberry orange cold press and it was divine. We also purchased two skillet meals, a Swiss and mushroom burger, chicken salad with fresh mangoes, and a vinaigrette that was to die for, and their berry crepes were excellent. Needless to say the service was excellent and food was to die for. I would highly recommend visiting when in the Chicago area.

Update: A true hidden gem:
I waited to eat the corned beef hash to go and realized when I got home they gave me a fork and sauce. I was not a corned beef hash person- I am now!
Black coffee 4/5.

This place is a hidden gem. Great service- the owner could tell I had not yet waken up and gave me my coffee on the house as I waited for my breakfast to go. Will update you on the food shortly. Made an account to leave this review!
