I never do reviews of places but had to get online immediately after I had the food from Hangry Joe’s. I tried their hot dry rub tenders and waffle fries. I’m usually a saucy kind of guy but I had their hot dry rub and was hooked. The rub is phenomenal if you like your tenders spicy and the waffle fries were nice and crispy. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t. 10/10 food!

This is one of the best Zabiha Halal chicken places in Illinois! I love their Chicken Sandwich (hot) and Tenders with Toast (also hot) love eating here when I’m in the area. Definitely recommend the sandwich + Tenders + Fries.
This is my first time being to one, and I tried out their Chicken Sando Combo meal with Medium heat. And I have to say at first I thought it was weak and that I should've gone for the hot. But as you keep eating it builds up, they got the flavor and the spice heat just right. It was the fun delicious kind of hot where you will get that heat in that makes you sweat a little but still be able to enjoy your food. I would recommend getting the medium just to try out your spice tolerance. What I like also is the burn just stays in my mouth, my stomach feels fine. Will definitely be trying out their hot sauce next time and if I dare their very hot one (FYI you need to sign their waiver form for their spiciest one).

Good atmosphere. Deapite being a fried food place, it didn't feel stuffy or greasy inside. Service was quick although we were the only customers at the time. Price is good too. Unfortunately, food was just okay. Besides the spice, the chicken was bland. Liked the fried okra though.

Shajait prepared the food very nicely and with care! Burger was superb! Fries were out of the world! He explained about the food, ask about mild, soicy preferences! Great service! Recommend this place for a quick bite! Will come back!Parking: A lot of car parking!
Loaded fries were solid. The actual hot chicken sandwich was hot! But just lacked flavor with the slaw and pickles. Will go back for the loaded fries.

I love this place, I went to Mount prospect and the Glendale location. Had the angry hot twice, (I usually go medium but angry hot is worth the experience) once per spot and they are identical. Hot and sweaty but the chicken is so worth for the delicious seasonings. Don’t sleep on anything they have!
