Honey Biscuit – Mount Prospect
Visited October 25, 2025
Honey Biscuit is a delightful breakfast spot that delivers both comfort and flavor. We ordered two omelets — the South of the Border and the Spring Omelet — plus a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. The omelets were hearty, flavorful, and satisfying, while the cheesesteak held its own with great taste and texture. The coffee was excellent — fresh, smooth, and perfectly brewed.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly and efficient service that made the experience even better. Overall, Honey Biscuit is the kind of place you’ll want to linger a little longer — ideal for brunch or a laid-back weekend breakfast.

Been to Honey Biscuit many times and the food and service is consistently excellent. Most recently we had the Door County chicken salad (yes, please), turkey club and the HB chopped salad. Portions are big and we always have leftovers. Vicki was our server, very attentive, friendly. The only negative is the acoustics are terrible, with noise levels so high it’s hard to hear people you’re with.

We came here on a Sunday morning with our dog. They told us we could sit outside, but there was a wait and they had an emergency with their staff. The food was absolutely tremendous despite the wait and emergency. They thanked us for our patience and were very cordial.

The food is great here. It's really loud and I usually can't hear the person I'm with. My waiter barely said a word to us and didn't bring us some things we asked for. I had a caramel latte that had a salted caramel rim which was tasty but also a huge mess dripping down the glass.

I’ve been going since it used to be a pizza place, and i love every part of it! It’s a fairly small restaurant but it’s very pretty inside! Wait time isn’t bad, drinks come out fast, and the food is amazing. Servers are super friendly, and the prices aren’t expensive either. Def recommend!

Ate here with a large 8 person group before heading out for the ren fair. The atmosphere and service was great. Ordered the waffle sandwich, eggs, bacon, pancakes and a iced brown sugar espresso. The espresso drink and the bacon were delicious and my husband devoured his sandwich. A perfect brunch spot in the suburbs with an amazing array of options

Always consistently good. They open earlier than most, so great for business breakfasts in town.

The food is good. And the employees are very quick. My main issue was with the seating. Parties of 1 or 2 will more than likely be seated in the center. With the amount of foot traffic passing you by, you start to feel very cramped.

Food is tasty, but portion size is smaller than other restaurants. Only disappointment with quality of food was that they don’t toast their English muffins with the Eggs Benedict!
