Always have liked this restaurant but now I feel they're really skimping on their meals. First off, no bread was offered before meal. Second, soup came out (not even a cracker included) before the salad, no biggie, the waiter did apologized. Salad came, which usually is one of the best, however, now and one previous time I dined there, that's what we got, lettuce and dressing...no cucumber, no tomatoes, not even a crouton, very disappointed in that, Friends of ours ordered chicken teriyaki, on their large oval plate was just that... 2 thin slices of chicken with sauce on top, no veggies, nothing..the meal did come with a side of rice tho which was served on the side. Food presentation was just awful. Me and my husband had chicken kabobs, rice on the side, thank goodness the skewer did have green peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms. We use to frequent this restaurant but not anymore. They have made too many cuts to their dinners.
We meet a friend for dinner and had a nice time - we had prime rib, beef liver and chicken Marsala - everything was very good. The service has been better but the restaurant had several large parties last night which seemed to cause a delay in response times or check ins. Will definitely go back!!
Hands down the worst steak I have ever had. It was somehow a pale gray on the outside and completely raw on the inside. It looked like it was steamed then someone drew grill lines one with a sharpie
To be honest the only reason I come here is their bake French onion soup. Second to none

Great dining experience. Large portion with plenty of food. Great service. One of my favorite Restaurants.
Jameson’s was my grandmother’s favorite restaurant in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. She’s been gone a long time now and I recently had the opportunity to take my kids to Jameson’s to reminisce. This is one spot I was hoping had not changed, and to my delight it was just as I had remembered. The old staple dishes still on the menu (and as good as ever). Rack of lamb. Shrimp deJonghe. The dining room, while clean and well maintained, was just as I had remembered.
Thanks, Jameson’s. You stirred up some really happy memories and gave my kids an opportunity to experience my own childhood.

Best Steak in Town! 👍
This was my first time at this location, I had been to another one that has since closed. It looks like a vintage steakhouse inside, no surprise. It was nice and clean, and everyone was friendly. It was busy on a Friday evening, which is why I normally try to avoid dining out on a Friday or Saturday evening.
Their prices for the two-for-one specials are insanely cheap; otherwise, the prices are average.
The homemade bread is great. The chowder is good, and their buffalo wings are legit. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Their shrimp could use a little Old Bay or cayenne, but I've almost gotten used to the bland midwestern palette. I think I need to start carrying around a bottle of Crystal or Tabasco.

WMy dad and I love Jamesons! It was our first tine at the Mount Prospect location. We both had the Prime Rib special. Was so good! Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was my first time at the Mt. Prospect property. Food, staff and atmosphere was consistent with other sites, which is excellent. Jamesons is our go-to restaurant for a high quality steak dinner when celebrating. Our waiter last night was attentive and the food was cooked to perfection.
OMG. They now have 5 course dinner for 2 for 39.95. Food is always exceptional, and this deal should bring people in droves. Yummy!
Very good food, atmosphere, and service
