Great place for groups! We try to come here for lunch after our tennis matches & it's usually around 6-8 of us. There is always something on the menu for all of us. Plus, they don't mind giving out separate checks which is very helpful. We have had Edwin as our server twice & he is so attentive. Love this place.
I have been to Jamison's for lunch and dinner and have always been very satisfied with the food.
This Jameson's location is our favorite. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is relaxing. Diners get A LOT of food- soup (I highly recommend the chicken noodle. The noodles are tortellini!), followed by a salad. Your entree comes with a potato choice and a veggie. The steaks are cooked to order and the medium cooked steak melted in my mouth. The portions are large and everyone at our table took leftovers home. Additionally, DO NOT pass on the bread. It is amazing!!!
Granted it was Father Day and it was crowded but..........the service was terrible. Appetizers took over 30 minutes but were tasty (spinach dip and saganaki) . The food itself took another hour. Steaks were overcooked to well done vs medium. Prime rib was good; fish dishes were good too. Asked for creamy garlic on 5 salads, all came with ranch. 5:00 reservation but seated at 5:25. Got out of there after 8:00. Won't be back anytime soon.
I would recommend Jameson in Mount Prospect any time the food is fabulous the price is incredible especially the 5-course entrée 2 people at $39.99 . The servers are friendly helpful the who place is amazing .
Food as always was excellent, service was fantastic. We are looking forward to our next visit. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce, salmon on the top. Never had that before and it was great.
Was very disappointed, ordered the chopped steak which I've had several times before. It was tough very dry and room temperature 🤔 also the broccoli was over cooked and cold. The clam chowder was delicious. Everyone else at the table was very happy with their meal. Never had a bad experience in all the years going there.
The atmosphere is great , the service was to be expected on Mother's Day, and the food was excellent. Bring your check book, it is not a place to take a cheap date. Very pricey!!
Everyone was friendly, waiter(s) were helpful and attentative, food was delicious. Will come back
Service was decent but part of our order was delayed and wrong. Food was good. Always good portions.

I used to go here with my parents when I was in middle school and it was fantastic. I hate to say, but this was the worse meal my family and I had tonight. The appetizers were not appetizing at all. We ordered the fried calamari which has 8 calamari rings. It was served on a side dish and it was super oily and greasy. My son had the chicken tenders which made him sick while we were at the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp de jonge and had to stop eating after 2 shrimps because it was super oily and I started not to feel well. My husband ordered the 16oz ribeye, there was nothing special about it. No flavor at all. It looked like a steak that would be served at Chili's but not Chili's prices. Overall it was disappointing and will not return. I hope others are aware so that they don't have to live the experience my family and I had to endure tonight.
Broccoli soup was very salty. Burger was average and the chicken was lukewarm when it arrived at the table.
This is an old standby for us and a great place to bring the family. We have been going here for many years as I used to work close by. It is also a good place to stop for diner if flying back to O'Hare and you live in the NW burbs. Steaks, chops and fish are all good, as are the pastas, sandwiches and salads. This time, we had two filet mignons, beef kabobs and cedar plank salmon. All were cooked correctly to order. Dinners come with soup and salad and plenty of bread. Saganaki is good too. We had key lime pie and carrot cake for desert and neither lasted long. Service was very good. My only small issue is the tables/furniture could use a refresh. That being said, that doesn't stop me from going.
Waiter was great . Appetizer, salad and main course came out perfectly timed from one coarse to the next.
Waitresses should be trained to hold entree orders before giving them to the cooks until diners have finished their soup and salad. We only had a very short time from when we got.our salads before the entree arrived. There was no room on the table for both..
