amazing hibachi! it was like being back in tokyo! SO GOOD!

We like a lot to go out. Last night we found this fine place which friends told us about. We had a lovely time there with exceptional food and an experienced stuff and an impressive chef. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we shall certainly return soon. We deeply recommend.

Sad that this place closed, hopefully they open back up, great food, and they keep you intertained the way they cook the food in front of you

The the cooking is fantastic and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we pass a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Loved this place for 30+ years. Moved away many years ago. In Chicago staying near airport and looked this up to make sure it’s still here and open tonight which google claims it is.

This place is great! Reasonable pricing, large portions and the employees are constantly welcoming.

I adore this restaurant! They have marvelous dishes, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is an expert, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is helpful. I often eat in this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for probably 20 years! Have never had a bad experience there! It’s a whole lot of fun! Food is excellent! Great for people of all ages!

Amazing! They may look the same as other Japanese steak houses that cook in front of you, but their food is far superior to all the others. If you go get the Golden Shrimp, it is so good.

Quality has really gone down. Been coming here for many years. Feels old, dreary and just blah. Older female bartender is awesome as always. Food not so much. Our chef was ok, but boring. The food was just meh. Was sorely disappointed in the whole experience. We had visited Red Star a few months ago who had completely renovated and installed a room such as Kampai. It was bright, clean and a really fabulous experience. Sadly, for our family Kampai will no longer be on our list for dining.

Don't waste your time at the sushi bar. We were there for 45 minutes and they never added anything new to the revolving bar. We tried to ask for things to be made but wait staff never came around and the sushi chef were busy with other orders and ignored the revolving bar. We only had 3 plates and left to go somewhere else.

Good sushi for the price, friendly staff.
