I adore this restaurant! They have marvelous dishes, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is an expert, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is helpful. I often eat in this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Wow, after being a loyal customer for 25 years, made a reservation for Anniversary this Saturday,months ago called to add 2 more people and didn't even know closed no notification. Michele u didn't take my reservation the owner did. The only reason which voice mail said closed for equipment issues doubt that.

Will never come here EVER again!!!!!!!!!!! My Aunt tried making reservations for her 70th birthday and they said no. "Big Groups never shows up on time and then we all wait and run into next reservation time slot. Sorry". What restaurant turns away a family trying to make a Sunday reservation?????? Looks like I will be taking my business to Ron of Japan from now on. -Thanks Kampai, a 15 year customer

Amazing! They may look the same as other Japanese steak houses that cook in front of you, but their food is far superior to all the others. If you go get the Golden Shrimp, it is so good.

Quality has really gone down. Been coming here for many years. Feels old, dreary and just blah. Older female bartender is awesome as always. Food not so much. Our chef was ok, but boring. The food was just meh. Was sorely disappointed in the whole experience. We had visited Red Star a few months ago who had completely renovated and installed a room such as Kampai. It was bright, clean and a really fabulous experience. Sadly, for our family Kampai will no longer be on our list for dining.
