My wife visited this place recently on Sunday with her friends and she really had a terrible experience with the food and staff. The didn't give what she ordered and when she asked to change and get what she wanted they didn't even do the needful instead they told her to pay extra. The food is really awful and the manager also didn't even bother about the customer service and didn't even respond or resolved the issue. They just want money not cared about the customer satisfaction. My mom's perspective: Yesterday my mom and coworker went to Lagostino's for lunch. When the waiter took the order, they received their drink (they took a sip) but when they received their food, one of them (Companion) was not what they ordered. The waiter did not bother to give the correct dish. He took the plate back to the kitchen and brought it back. After that, my mother and her partner decided to tell the waiter to just ask for the bill for the drink and that they would leave. On the bill, they charged them for EVERYTHING (drink AND food). The one the co-worker received (wrong food) and my mother's food (the correct food but she hasn't touched it because she was waiting for the co-worker to receive the food). After an argument between my mother with the coworker and the waiter WITH the manager, they decided to call the police to stop my mother (and the Coworker) from paying the bill. 10-15 minutes after the police showed up and discussed the situation, a stranger (man) knew my mother and upon hearing about the argument, decided to pay for them. In the bill, he paid for the drinks AND the service!
Well, I can't say that I was there to support my mother, but at least I was there to write a review of her experiences at Los Lagostino's. Sure the bill wasn't too big ($50) to pay, but do they have to pay for the food they didn't eat? Pay for the service? The kind stranger paid it, although he didn't have to, but he did it out of kindness. Honestly, I am disappointed with the waiter and THE MANAGER (he didn't bother to listen to the customer's opinion and prohibit them from entering).

Food was very good, I got the tostada de Cameron y Pescado. Very fresh and came with extra crackers ($8.99), my partner ordered a plate of Camaron empanizada, very large portion but the plate was not worth $25. We also ordered one michelada $8 and one horchata-no free refills $5, both were good and reasonably priced, however the establishment itself isn’t fancy, it’s a small restaurant so I feel the prices shouldn’t be as high but the food was great and service was good as well. Reason for less stars is because they add the gratuity automatically. Understandable if you’re coming with a large group but it was just two of us, on top of that they charge an extra 3% just for using a card. The restaurant isn’t as modern in my opinion to reflect the really high prices. I don’t think I will come back to dine here unless I really want too, there are other places not nearly this pricey, as I said good place if price isn’t an issue but be prepared to spend at least $70 for two people. Waitress was nice and attentive and as I said food was good but was definitely more pricey in comparison to other options especially for two people.

I recently visited this restaurant, hoping to satisfy my craving for camarones, but the experience left much to be desired. We ordered empanadas, two soft drinks, and the Chapuzón del Mar for two people. Given the menu prices, our total should have been $76.47 with tax included. Instead, we were shocked to find the final bill amounted to approximately $93.
The additional charges were simply unacceptable. Not only did they tack on a 3% fee for paying with a card, but they also included a forced gratuity. On top of that, we were expected to leave a tip? This felt like an unreasonable and unfair way to pad the bill.
To make matters worse, the food quality didn't justify the cost. The camarones were incredibly bland, lacking any of the flavor I had been craving. For the price we paid, I expected much better.
Overall, the combination of poor food quality, hidden fees, and excessive charges made this dining experience thoroughly disappointing. I would not recommend this place and certainly won’t be coming back.

The food is simply delicious ?.We always order the same thing to take away, for years. And what we like most is that the seasoning is the same, although the food is now smaller because a long time ago they gave us more quantity, but the quality is the same, we love the deviled sauce, I hope they never change it. I would like to know why they changed the name ? of the restaurant. Before it was El Veneno if I remember correctly.
