It’s sad I have to write this review as it use to be a great place for Mexican food. I recently was there twice this week and was extremely disappointed how this place has changed over the years. I ordered three tacos the first time this week and they were extremely small, little meat and toppings for $4+ a piece. I thought maybe it was just a one off experience so I ordered again a few days later and they were the same small tacos, very little meat and toppings. This place has gone down hill bad. They are essentially charging customers double for what they are actually getting. It’s no wonder why the restaurant is empty on a Friday at lunch time. They then seem to always “forget” to give you limes and salsa. Go somewhere else, because I regret being ripped off twice in one week by them.

Miguel is an excellent man and an outstanding caterer. We’ve been using his catering services for a while now, and he has never let us down. Always on time, always professional. The tacos are consistently delicious, and the quality of meat he uses is top-notch. Everyone in my family and all our friends love his food. Food is always amazing! And staff is super friendly. One of the fewest places that offer homemade tortillas which are a 10/10 I'm hispanic and this restaurant is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area.
SO DISAPPOINTED!!! We WERE regular customers. Been here almost 6-7 times a year for the past 2 years. My family loved their lengua and tripe tacos and their green salsa. This time we ordered 12 tacos, 1 fried tilapia and an order of large horchata. Our bill came to $102. I paid and gave a $20 tip without thinking. I went back to my table and thought how could the bill be so high. On the menu the tacos were $3.95 each and the fish was $21, the horchata couldn’t be that much. We felt there must be an error in the bill so we asked for a detailed receipt but the guy that was our server (first time seeing him) says the order was closed and he couldn’t print a detailed receipt. How is that possible?!!! We felt lied to and it’s sad. YOU LOST MY FAMILY’S BUSINESS. Never coming back!

The best Mexican restaurant by far in the area, in a pretty big area all the way to Chicago if you ask me. I need to ask the restaurant for an apology as somehow I totally missed filling out a much deserved review. The carne asada plate is amazing, fresh with a nice portion of sides, not to mention the steak was enough as well unlike other places. Flavor and value, not to mention great customer service. Highly recommend, five stars all the way!!!!
