Patina Wine Bar- Mt. Prospect

I had my daughter’s wedding shower at Patinas wine bar in Mount Prospect.
Judy made planning the shower so easy! She replied to all of our questions the same day. The day of the shower was so nice!
They had everything set up for us, all we had to do was put decorations up. Joseph and Breanne were a huge help to us all day!
I got so many compliments from the guests about how good the food was, how nice the place is, and how friendly the staff was.
I highly recommend having your next event at Patinas wine bar.

We enjoyed a great meal and drinks here. Lamb chops were excellent as well as the skirt steak and short rib gnocci. We enjoyed mellow live music on the patio and Manny served us well. This is a great spot! We will be back!

The flatbread pizzas are great. Really strong wine selections. I would like it if there was a better by-the-glass selection as it is unlikely we will buy a bottle. Service is adequate or at least was for us. Try to sit outside as it is very loud inside. Prices are on the high side. We live very close so we go here periodically. Prices prevent us from visiting more frequently.

Top notch service with amazing food! Great for parties and events! I had the privilege to photograph an event here, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff was courteous and welcoming. ❤️

Great afternoon lunch at Patina! More than just a wine bar. Appetizers and entrees were delicious and beyond expectations. Marisa was spot on with her recommendations. Damian was very welcoming. Great local find. Just what MP needs.

Our friends have been here and suggested this place!! Wow we had the best Valentines with them. The flights are great. Crab cakes better than BOB CHINS. My husband bought me the wine club and I am sooo happy he did. The benefits are so much more than most places :)

Great spot in downtown Mount Prospect. We had the build your own charcuterie board which was a fun concept to begin with. Made better by the bartender, Nate, who helped us with some wine selections to pair.

The first time we went here there was a gentleman bartender who didnt seem busy, but wasnt really attentive so we didn't come back for a while. Last Monday we decided to give this place another shot, and we are so glad we did. Marissa was our waitress. She was the only one working with a pretty full restaurant, but we never needed anything. She gave us a very welcoming and friendly greeting that made us feel right at home. She was incredibly knowledgeable on the menu including great details describing not only the ingredients, but the texture and taste as well. We had some questions about wine as and cheeses and she gave us wonderful suggestions for a softer cheese and one a little bit more firm. Our favorite was the way she described the Delice de Bourgogne cheese with the acidity in the red blend bottle she suggested which, as she said, the acidity would cut through the richness and it did exactly that. We were beyond impressed with her knowledge and attentiveness to little things like new plates when we switched from apps to entrees and always making sure we had water in our glasses. Marissa's bubbly and friendly attitude combined with her knowledge of the menu was amazing to experience, and we will certainly be back to see her.

Really love the decor inside! Came for the monthly wine tasting and stayed for an additional glass of red and some food. Excited to come back for happy hour for oysters and wine!

This place is amazing and hands down one of the best experiences we have had in the area. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are delicious and they have a great wine selection at all different price points. A must try!

We had a delightful time at Patina. The food was delicious. We enjoyed a charcuterie board, the chickpea appetizer, the shrimp and polenta dish, and that night's special soup, lobster bisque. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed meeting the chef and appreciated the dessert. We will definitely be back and will continue introducing friends and family to the restaurant bar.

This is a fantastic place. They have a wine club, so no surprise the wine is lovely. The best surprise, however, is the food. We've been here dozens of times, and everything we've ordered has been fantastic. Also, customer service is flawless, and super friendly. I wish there was an option to give them more than 5 stars!
