We visited the restaurant and ordered the lamb soup and lamb kebab — it was incredibly delicious. My husband said it was the best soup he’s had in years. My kebab was also perfectly cooked — tender meat that melted in the mouth. Our new favorite place, thank you so much!

First time trying Uyghur food and I’m obsessed. We walked in and they were taking pics of a beautiful spread for their menu so our timing couldn’t have been better! And the staff was so kind and helpful in telling us what various dishes are and making recommendations. The only issue was that everything looked good but there were just two of us! Hoping to come back again and try more next time we are in the area!

I recently discovered that they just opened two weeks ago, and I’m delighted that I was able to experience the authentic Uyghur cuisine. This place seems to be under new ownership, and it's beautifully renovated. The food is amazing, they're currently in their soft opening, and everything we tried was delicious. I highly recommend the lagman, the noodles are incredibly tasty!
One small thing to note: it would be nice if the server greeted guests as they walk in and created a more welcoming atmosphere. I understand some people may be shy, but walking into a quiet restaurant with no greeting, seating yourself, and ordering in silence can feel a bit awkward.
Other than that, everything was great. Wishing them the best of luck!

Great New Restaurant in Mount Prospect Arzu just opened, and we had a wonderful first visit. The food and service were both excellent. My family of four ordered the eggplant salad, Uygur laghman, fried manti, palov, and a carafe of kompot. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant felt warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!

Our entire family loves Uyghur Lagman and we had a great experience at Arzu! The laghman was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned with tender noodles and rich flavors. The Cesar salad was delicious. But the eggplant salad was amazing. So flavorful and airy! The chicken kebabs were well cooked and still so juicy. Loved the boorsok too. Definitely will be back for lagman the next time.

We checked out Arzu in Mount Prospect, and it was such a great experience! We had the Smashed Cucumber Salad, along with Beef, Lamb, and Chicken Shashleek—everything was seriously delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and quick. If you’re into Central Asian food—or even if you’ve never tried it—this spot is 100% worth a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!
