The place is absolutely beautiful and staff is kind. Really cute rooftop, but the portions are tiny making this pretty pricey for what you get.

We hosted a private event in the upstairs space and everything was perfect. The service was outstanding - the staff was personable, attentive, and quick. The food came out quickly, was fresh, hot, and delicious. The space was beautiful, clean, and bright. We couldn't have asked for a better event.

Monday night dinner was good, but could use some improvement on the execution of the food and perhaps their portion sizes. The restaurant is beautifully designed and welcoming, with the feel of an upscale home, paired with excellent and attentive service. We were well taken care of throughout the evening.
We started with a cocktail, mocktail and wine. The drinks were delicious and fairly priced, however, wines by the glass (Vermentino and Pinot Noir) were $16 and $14 respectively, seemed light on the pour.
Apps ordered was their Pear Salad and Octopus. The Pear Salad was simple and elegant, full of texture, highlighted by creamy Gorgonzola and perfectly roasted/grilled pears. It was missing the blackberry, which would have added nice acidity, but overall the salad was very delicious. The Octopus was good but slightly off. It very tender but borderline mushy in some pieces. It was lacking seasoning and could have been a bit hotter, but it wasn’t far off the mark.
For the main course, we ordered the Half Chicken, Steak Frites, and Pork Chop. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, but the frites and chimichurri were standouts! Crispy frites with aioli and a slightly spicy and bright chimichurri made the dish. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with crisp skin, and juicy, plump meat. It came with chicken au jus that was also delicious and perfectly seasoned. Unfortunately, the pork chop was well done, dry, and under-seasoned. It was so simple of a dish that there is nothing to hide its faults.
The chicken and pork chop dishes are a la carte, so we added Garlic Mash & Gravy, Four Star Mushrooms, and the Grilled Cabbage appetizer as sides. The mash was very tasty and buttery, but the portion was not worth $10 for its size. The gravy had decent flavor, but it was also luke warm and on the thick side. The mushrooms were sautéed nicely and almost there, but they too were missing just a bit of seasoning. Regardless, they were a delicious accompaniment to the steak and chicken. We really wanted to like the cabbage, but that too should have been hotter, perhaps a bit more tender (cooked longer to bring out more natural sweetness), and more flavorful. It tasted watered down and under-seasoned, as I was expecting more punch from the nuoc cham.
Our final dish for dessert was the Chocolate Caramel Swiss Roll. It was a solid dessert as we all enjoyed the textures and flavors of a well made, not overly sweet cap to the evening.
I’m hoping that this review is read as helpful and constructive because I truly think that The Prospect is a much needed (upscale restaurant experience/destination) in the NW suburbs. I will definitely come back because I enjoyed our dinner and we had a great experience.

I had such a great experience here last Saturday! The waiter was attentive like he had a sixth sense for a table's needs, appearing at exactly the right moment without ever feeling intrusive. The assistant GM, Dan, made me and my entourage like welcomed guests in his home, with a warm and friendly demeanor that made the Brunch&Beats feel special. The food was absolutely delicious made by Chef Raul— full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The drinks made by Hans were super refreshing and packed with taste. The music and overall vibe made the place feel so fun and welcoming. Definitely one of my new favorite spots — can’t wait to come back and check out the next Brunch&Beats with DJ RexJ on 11/15 and DJ Erge’s Friendsgiving on 11/22. Great peeps, great eats & great beats! I suggest making a reservation cause these Brunch&Beats get packed.

Repeat customer at Beats and Brunch that exceeded my expectations, again! The attention to detail by GM Eric was outstanding, making our entire brunch experience feel like VIP service. Our server, Zero, was exceptional, and the bar’s drink selection was impressive. The staff was friendly and welcoming across the board. For a more intimate vibe, the Chef’s Table is the perfect spot. If you want to feel the energy and dance vibes, grab a table by the DJ!

We had a private party upstairs and I can’t say enough about how great it was! All the food was amazing but the filet sliders and crab cakes are to die for! The staff was top notch - drinks were flowing and food was replenished all night long! The room is absolutely beautiful with the doors open to the patio. It’s a perfect room for any kind of event. Five+++ stars!

We hosted a private event at The Prospect and it was absolutely amazing! Nicole and the team went above and beyond to take care of every detail — from planning to making sure our guests were well looked after throughout the night. The food and drinks were outstanding, clearly crafted with care and creativity. The vibe was incredible — it felt like being downtown in the city, but without the hassle of actually being there. We can’t wait to come back soon!

I had a wonderful first dinner here. I’m a “solo diner” and sat at the kitchen counter watching the magic happen. Alex, my waiter, was spot on. The kitchen staff graciously answered all my nosey questions. Eric Page, manager, engaged me in a lively convo. All told, an excellent experience and a welcomed addition to the suburban dining scene. I will be back!
