In general, it's a nice restaurant! It's just that it's overpriced, coupled with really small portions. It makes you feel as though they are trying to squeeze you for every cent. A crab cake appetizer for more than $20 should have more than one not-very-big crab cake. With a $30 pork chop, put a few carrots or something on the plate with it. Even if just for color and presentation. Even with a la carte sides, it's an odd choice to serve it that way. The food was good, but in these times with inflated prices everywhere, it still seemed over the top.

Went here with a group of friends. Got there at 5pm and was rudely greeted by the hostess. Instead of welcoming us she stared us down and asked if we had a reservation. They had just opened and there was no one else in the place. But yes we did have a reservation. Besides that rude encounter the rest of the staff was very polite and on point. We were there during The Golden hour. We tried just about every appetizer on the Golden hour menu, all were delicious. The wings and grilled oysters really stood out. We also tried the grilled octopus which was so tender and grilled perfect. We contemplated just ordering more apps but decided to order entrees instead. The table ordered steaks, the salmon, Sword fish, and the Lamache pasta. All the food was very good and cooked perfectly. The only complaint was the portion sizes. The pasta was a toddler size portion at best. The steaks seemed small and thin as well as small portions of the fish too. The entree seemed more like appetizer or small plates than dinner. I really had wanted to try the steak frites but they were all out that day. Overall the food was delicious and the staff was great, besides the hostess. I would recommend going for Golden Hour for a better deal.

Getting there was easy.
Not a lot of parking lot, but we manged it.
We were there to celebrate our friend birthday. Got there around 5.38 ... and we didn't do our homework, they had happy hour till 6pm, and also the waiter further to tell us as well.
The ambiance was nice, servers were very attentive, some to much attentive.
Food was good, we had salats, octopus, steak, fries and a cake.
Everything was fresh.
Cesar salat( to me) was a joke, literally 5 leaves of the salat, to bad I didn't take a photo just to prove it...
Portion are not big, small.
Not to share.
But overall we had a great time, great food, good food cocktails, nice ambience.
Loved it.

Third visit to restaurant did not disappoint. Food and sevice were excellent. Tables quite close together creating a somewhat noisy environment.

I’ve never had a bad experience at The Prospect. I’ve gone many times for date nights as well as dinners out with friends. The food is always delicious (excellent sauces, well seasoned, proteins cooked well) and the cocktails are also very tasty. It is definitely a more upscale suburban restaurant.

Recently, I co-hosted a Galentine’s Dinner private event in the upper level. The hospitality crew, led by Nicole, was so easy to work with. Nicole was able to customize our experience and she was very clear and easy to communicate with. The Prospect has a really nice prix fixe menu for private events where you pick multiple dishes to share family-style and pay per person. It’s a lot of food in a good way! They also came up with a custom cocktail that we had as a welcome drink. It was a really great experience and really super easy. The space is so lovely that you really don’t even need to bring extra decor. I would highly recommend for private events.

We visited The Prospect on Valentine’s Day and it absolutely delivered. We started with the lamb chops and brown butter scallops (the appetizer special) both were incredible. (Chef Raul if you read this- I’m officially petitioning for these to be on the menu full‑time!!)
Our tomahawk was cooked to a perfect medium‑rare and was great to share, with our enhancements adding amazing flavor.
For desserts we went out with a bang and ordered not one but two.. the Valentine’s cheesecake and the cookie skillet. Both were so good we couldn’t decide which was the winner!
Service was top‑notch from start to finish. The hosts welcomed us right away and got us seated quickly, our server Ciro offered excellent recommendations, and the rest of the team kept everything seamless and spotless throughout the night. Drinks were spot on, and the ambiance tied everything together beautifully.
It truly feels like having a slice of the city in the suburbs- great service, tasty food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Love The Prospect for any occasion!

We enjoyed The Prospect. The food was good but over priced for what you received and the presentation. Both steaks were underwhelming. It was moderately busy but the staff seemed to be in a hurry everywhere. There was a lot rushing around and when one of our appetizers was set down it was tossed onto the table and hit our drinks. Our server was very kind and was great at reading when we needed something or when we were just talking.

We loved the food. Service was ok but it was super busy for Valentine's Day and it was crazy loud. We probably won't be back on a weekend cause we were cramped in between two couples and it was awkward and hard to have private conversations.

I was looking for a reservation to celebrate Valentine's Day and leaving it too late to have many choices - However, I could not have picked a better restaurant. It was beyond of my neighborhood but would highly recommend it to anyone and I look forward to my return visit. Two aspects other than great food made it an enjoyable event - arriving 15 minutes early and despite a buzzing bar and dining scene we were seated immediately nor forced to have a pre-dinner drink. Our server Bianca was professional and had a great attitude. We stayed with a pescatarian theme - appetizers were scallops, and crab cake followed with their sensational main menu black cod and the swordfish.

Food and service were amazing. The lamb chop appetizer was delicious. My only complaint is that the restaurant was just too bright, for an 8pm dinner I would have appreciated a more relaxed ambiance.

Our first time going to the Prospect, and it was for their Valentine's Day Brunch. Didn't expect a DJ but appreciated the vibe it created. We loved the food! Great portions and reasonable pricing. Our server Maggie and bartender Hanz gave us a lot of suggestions and all were great! Checks in often and made us feel welcome and heard.

Good food but slightly overpriced on some items. However, the service is really slow so I will not recommend if you are really hungry or in a hurry...took 1 hour to get our food.

Where does one start... simply by saying don't bother. The hostess and the server are the only positives... an maybe the drinks. otherwise, one of the most disappointing culinary experiences I had in a really long time.

We chose the restaurant to celebrate my 50th birthday. After being offered the bar for our seating (after reserving a table earlier in the week) we then waited to be given a high top in the bar area. To the $60 ala cart NY Strips that were ordered Medium Rare and came out as shoe leather (my husband's steak was over cooked, mine was inedible as it had a ribbon of tendon through it - I sent it back) to waiting 10 mins to get the last of 4th main courses, so the over cooked steaks was also cold as we waited. To the blacked chicken on my daughters meal was so dry you could. swallow it.

Then to add insult to injury, when the bill came they took of one steak and have us two complimentary glasses of wine.

Needless to say, I didn't have dinner on my birthday... went home hungry.

but the kicker... no one came to our table to apologize, and after asking to speak to the manager, he was dismissive and unapologetic. It was like it didn't matter... at all.

I've eaten at many fine restaurants, I've eaten at many. superb bar in the US and abroad.

This was honestly one of the most disappointing and unfortunate experiences.

If you're going to sell say you're menu is limited becasue you've mastered the food. make sure you can deliver a steak better than Outback.
