I was really disappointed with my experience at TRILOKAH. The dosa I ordered was shockingly soggy—it was wet and soft, nothing like the crispy dosa I was expecting. For me, a dosa should have a satisfying crunch, but this one was completely lacking in texture. Not sure I’d come back, as the quality just didn’t meet my expectations.

Very friendly staff, interesting (not very expensive) decor. The theme is quite filmi, with some antique cameras on display, sketches on the walls related to heritage, and menu based on the film actors ?
Anyways, coming to food, it is #Kerala cuisine. All meat items are #halal. The best must-to-eat dish is Pompano Pollichatu. It is Pomfret fish cooked in banana leave. It is a very spicy dish. Combining with a drink of Lime Juice will be very refreshing.

This is our second kitchen. If we want authentic Indian food, we look no further, even though it’s a 25-minute drive for us. The kizhi parotta and Sunday buffet are highly recommended.

I recently visited Trilokah, it was a delightful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that truly captured the essence of Kerala cuisine. The food was bursting with rich spices and fresh ingredients—comforting and flavorful.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. They were happy to explain the dishes and offer recommendations, which was great for someone like me who wanted to try something new.
One thing that added to the fun was the creative names of some of the dishes. We couldn’t help but giggle.
The ambiance was cozy, and it felt like a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Whether you’re familiar with Kerala cuisine or trying it for the first time, it is a must-visit in Chicago. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Trilokah is one of the few places in Chicago that offers authentic Kerala food. We ordered the kappa and fish curry, parotta and beef, butter chicken and biriyani. Everything was exceptional and the flavor was truly Kerala style. The owner is very friendly and will make sure everything is good! Highly recommend Trilokah for authentic South and North Indian food!
