What a great place! Good food at a very reasonable price. The menu is VERY small, so they do a great job. The gyros were loaded with meat, and the salads were fresh and crunchy. Loved the Greek dressing. Watch out, they are CASH ONLY.
Gyro was absolutely great. It is delicious and very sizable for the cost. I purchased the sandwich only, no sides, and was absolutely stuffed. I literally stood there and watched him make the sandwhich out of fresh ingredients in a matter of a minute of ordering. Grabbed mine to go and enjoyed every second of it. Great local place to dine and very friendly. Note: cash only.
Not only is this the best place to eat in Mt. Vernon, this on the top of my favorite Greek restaurants anywhere - including Greece! You will not be disappointed if you take the small journey off of the interstate. Cash Only! But there is an ATM across the street.
