I don't live in the area, and most of the Long John Silvers that I have went to the past few years have been nothing less than disgusting. Today I went to the MtVernon store and totally amazed. The girl that waited on me was so nice,and very helpful. And the store was so clean...It was awesome. I will definitely be back again when I am down that way. Thank you to the staff and kudos to the management. It was fantastic!

I used to eat Long John Silvers in Florida, but they all went out of business. So when I saw one in Mt. Vernon Illinois I had to try them out. They didn't disappoint, the food was just as good as it was years ago!!

Short wait but wrong. ordered 1 fish meal 1 fish and chicken meal . Got 1 piece of fish 5 pieces of chicken if I wanted chicken I'd gone to KFC . hate the waffle fries didn't realise they had changed the fries. So I spent 25.78 for 1 piece of fish. However my husband got 2 pieces of chicken. It was So tough we had to feed it to the dogs
