Their frozen pelmeni is delicious! I'm not European but it was fun to look around at things that were unfamiliar. It's not a fancy place, it's not exactly friendly if you're new, but that's OK! I came here to look around and buy food, not for pleasantries. They weren't rude in any way, just neutral. Like me. I appreciate an honest demeanor 😆Their cakes look absolutely gorgeous.
Authentic Eastern European food! 30 years in business! They have their own meat plant in Illinois! Support authentic Eastern European food throughout the United States! Highly recommended!
This store habitually sells expired food, its staff is unfriendly, its atmosphere is negative. Old Soviet times, how is it possible to reinstate those times here?
Food looked old and not healthy.
People work there are cold and distant. They speak in Russian mostly. When I entered the store no one said Hello...Not welcoming and friendly. Will not go there again!
Very rude staff! talk about politics, ignore customers. food is normal
My dad was walking into the store, as he was about to open the door some lady ran across from the counter and locked the door in his face and waved goodbye through the glass. Very disrespectful, terrible customer service. In the past experiences at this store lot of the workers had very bad attitude. Good product, bad customer service.
Liked the European deli products
Store isn’t bad but salespeople need to learn how to be polite with customers

Be careful, everything in this store is contaminated with shashel. Candies, cereals, etc. I bought a lot of things before my vacation. On the second day I found these worms in the marshmallows, I think it happens. I put the cereal, sweets, and cookies in the closet. I flew back from vacation and was in shock. All the cabinets in my kitchen were filled with these white worms. I had to throw everything away. The day I was in this store, it was the beginning of July, the refrigerators were completely empty. The store was in general order. Now I understand why. Now for two months now I have been trying to get rid of this scourge in my kitchen. I come home after work and these white worms are crawling on my ceiling. Not fatal, yes. But it’s very disgusting and not pleasant.

I asked for cold smoked mackerel, but they gave me hot smoked mackerel. When I returned and told them, they began to prove to me that this could not happen. They communicated very rudely in Soviet style.
I wanted to take five mackerel, five herrings, various sausages, lard. I live in a town where there is no Russian store, but after such an attitude I went to frash farms and spent 350 dollars there.
I love coming here and getting the different meats. I don't know if they brought back the Chicago salami but that was my favorite. But in the meantime they have plenty of cheeses and meats and all types of Russian and former Soviet Union
