This place has really gone down hill since i was last there, particularly the quality.
I will also note that while eating there there was an employee on a meeting call blasting it on speaker phone. So on top of the so so Ramen, we all got to listen to some work call.

Ordered take out from here for the first time. Never had ramen before, it was pretty good. Inside has little crane games you can play which is fun.

71 for TRASH!!! Ordered three ramens and shishito peppers. Not sure how this place considers itself ramen. For starters there are only pictures on their menu with no descriptions. My egg tasted rotten and is NOT soft boiled. The waitress when told my egg isn’t soft boiled looked at me like I was crazy. The other two in my party said the same thing about their eggs. Third, the noodles in every dish were different. One was spaghetti like the other two were like fettuccini. Fourth, look at the amount of grease in the spaghetti like noodles. Fifth, miso ramen consistency WAS CURRY. Thick and disturbing. This was a disgrace to the ramen world.

Awful, the noodles were not cooked right they were still raw and sticky why are they rubbery. And the broth, what is going on as well with the sushi why does it taste like ketchup. Did not have good taste at all, as soon as I had tried the sushi it was over with it I thought maybe the ramen would justify it no. It was somehow worst. The first time I had came here was so good I loved it and this was my second time but now I see and have a reason to not come back. The food was awful nothing wrong with the server she was so sweet but it was the food. Get better cooks, cooks who care what they put out because this was honestly just a lot of words.

Chicago ramen is one of my favorite ramen places in the city, I usually go to the Des plaines location, but this location is almost as good. The spicy red miso is thick and luscious the noodles are thick (like linguine) and the homemade chashu is tender and flavorful. I also appreciate the fact that the prices are extremely reasonable compared to many other ramen places in town. The restaurant is new, like other reviewers have noted the floors are a bit sticky for some unknown reason. I found the service to be spotty since the manager is nice, but the servers seem disinterested in the customers.

1. **Calamari:** The calamari was excessively oily and not good. After trying a single piece, we decided it wasn't to our liking, yet we were still charged for it.

2. **Chicken Ramen:** Priced at $16, the chicken ramen came with only a few small slices of chicken. It was inadequate for my 9-year-old son.

3. **Veg Curry and Rice:** The veg curry was disappointing and lacked flavor.

Additionally, we ordered two starters, but they arrived after our main courses, which was frustrating. Overall, the dining experience felt expensive without delivering on quality or service.

Ultimately, we chose to order from other restaurants afterward.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. Since it’s a ramen shop, I’ll start with the ramen—it was way too salty and just covered in pork fat. It felt like they just mixed lard with a ton of soy sauce with MSG and called it flavor. I even asked for extra broth, but they literally brought me plain hot water and said it was broth. When I asked if it was chicken or pork stock, they wouldn’t answer—just kept insisting 'this is our broth.' Honestly, it seemed like they just watered down some store-bought sauce instead of actually making stock.
Second issue: cleanliness. The plates and bowls were sticky, the floor felt greasy, and even the menus were hard to touch.
I came in hoping for comfort food, but it ended up being unhealthy high-fat, high-salt food. I couldn’t even finish half of it before leaving

Tastes like Chicago Ramen! I am a more frequent patron to the location near O’Hare, so it was a nice surprise to find a location in Mundelien!

Food was tasty! I ordered a White Miso Ramen with an Egg, it was tasty. With flavorful broth and a pinch of seaweed seasoning, it was a great and hearty meal.

Good food but it’s pretty dirty. The floors are sticky and so are the tables, it’s a nice place to hang out with friends but not a place I’d go to often. Wish it was cleaner.

The sushi and the shrimp tempura were good but the noodles had a bland taste, not very good. I am going to try another location before I completely give up on them. I have heard a lot of good stuff about this restaurant, but this location unfortunately was not so good!

Walking in, the very first thing I noticed was the floors were sticky. The seats uncomfortable. The shrimp shumai was served deep fried to a crisp (traditionally it's supposed to be steamed). The pork curry was a giant thin slab of meat with cuts in it, rather than bite sized strips one normally expects (Do you know how annoying it is to have to pick up thr entire thing with chopsticks and try to gnaw off chuncks because they don't give a knife?). The curry itself was a salt lick. Two hours later, the meal came back to haunt me. NEVER again.

When I say this is the BEST ramen I’ve ever had in my life I MEAN IT! This might actually be the best ramen in LAKE COUNTY!! the broth was flavorful and hearty, the ingredients tasted fresh and every spoon nourished the soul, we ordered the calamari and it was phenomenal!! Service was fast and accurate too! they had fresh garnishes for your ramen at the table, we paired ours with a strawberry Ramune and let me tell you, my mouth is watering writing this review and I’m already ready to go back! 🙌🏾😮‍💨

Really sad place. The chairs suck. Hurts to sit on. Tried the ramen and it's not good. Figured I'd try the curry and see if at least that is good. The rice sucks. Very dry and really cheap quality. Curry is really salty and the pork cutlets are so thin that I'm not sure which is more the pork or the breading

First time here. Will definitely be coming back many times! The Red Miso Ramen was the best I have had in a long time! Cannot wait to come back!
