El Barrio has been around longer than I have been alive. A family run restaurant that serves authentic and delicious Mexican food. The staff is experienced and friendly. Prices are reasonable and there is always room in the dining area. This is a gem of an establishment in the heart of a residential area. Their guacamole is some of the best around. Go and you will feel as if you are sitting in a barrio.

Had a small party for a group of 15 with drinks and appetizers. The food was great and drinks were plentiful! The bartender and servers were very attentive and sweet. Everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back for dinner soon.

Went to this establishment because so many people said it's the best. Well, that statement is false. I have had better food in many different Mexican restaurants, and this one doesn't even come close. Very over priced for what you get. The food is very bland, and there is barely any flavor if there is any. Small portions, even the rice and beans. I can't see even putting it on my list to try again. And it took a very long time to get your meal. There were only 4 tables that had people. A total of 9 dinners. I hope all you follers that check out the reviews also read the other reviews that are posted. Happy eating.

Cute little Mexican place off the beaten track. Food was delicious. We had the steak special (bistec ranchero). The "soupy beans" were delicious. (Bean soup). The salsa was delicious with the right heat, and the extra hot stuff they brought out for us was really flavorful with a nice afterburn. The service was excellent and attentive. Great place and great experience thank you!

Great neighborhood feel!! Forget the big chains, this is a family owned, scratch kitchen with a fantastic staff and welcoming atmosphere. Incredible tequila selection. The new bartender is great, she really has an eye on customer service and a lot of great ideas. Hopefully some tequila tasting and flights in the future.

My husband and I have been here twice now. Both times, we had exceptional service. The wait staff was friendly and answered questions. We tried two different kinds of Spanish rice, at our waitresses urging. Both were outstanding. We haven’t had a bad meal here. It’s easily become one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area to eat at. We will definitely be back again!
