The food served was unfortunately cold and appeared to have been prepared some time prior, which affected the overall quality of the dining experience. Additionally, the service did not meet expectations, characterized by a lack of attentiveness and responsiveness. Terrible!

I’ve had a waitress say “no tip?!” to me, what she didn’t see is that I was just going to give her cash instead of card tip. This further refrained me from giving any sort of tip. Food is okay. If you look at the ceiling, the vents are dusty, moldy and black. I was sitting in a booth by the window, and couldn’t help but stare at dead bugs in a huge spider web, everything on the windows looked dirty, the ceiling looks disgusting considering that the same dust and dirt could be falling onto the food.

There was no wait to get seated very slow. It's your basic Chinese Buffet, nothing really stands out as you got to have it. Food was a little old and just warm not to fresh. Little pricey$18.99. Does not include drink a $3 charge for soda with free refills. Seafood boil was old and cold. More of a crayfish boil then seafood.

I went for crab legs, but they were eaten before we got there. It was only 7pm. There was a lot of empty pans and cold food. I paid $20 for buffet and never even got what I came for. Super disappointed.

I visited Empire Buffet today with my family. Overall, it was an okay experience — not the best Asian buffet in the area, but decent for the price and variety.
Some of the highlights were the Chinese doughnuts, crab rangoons, sushi, hibachi, and the broccoli chicken. The mushroom chicken was also flavorful. I didn’t try everything, of course, but those stood out in a good way.
On the flip side, most of the desserts (aside from the doughnuts) weren’t great, and some of the seafood options didn’t look very fresh.
The service was fine — our waitress was attentive and made sure drinks were refilled promptly. The restaurant itself could use a bit of an update. There was a noticeable musty or stale smell throughout the dining area that took away from the overall experience, even though it wasn’t coming from the food itself.
All in all, Empire Buffet is an okay spot if you’re craving a wide variety of options, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both atmosphere and quality.

I love Chinese food. Unfortunately this is the only place close to my house. Every time I come here the ladies always have an attitude and the food is 80% of the time very dry it just sits there for hours. When the food is old I always get bad food poisoning and I’m not the only one that’s gets food poisoning as I am reading in the comments. Service is bad. They don’t come to my table to ask for refills and when I raise my hand for them to refill my drink they look at me and ignore me and I have to actually get up and ask them for a refill which is okay but they have the audacity to ask for a tip when they don’t even give you service and they get mad ! This place should get shut down.it is to expensive. Food is always nasty cold and old. It’s just a horrible place honestly but I have no other restaurant near me

Traditional Chinese buffet with great calamari, fish and sushi! I think its hilarious people leave reviews that a place with 8 different hot fish dishes out smells like.... fish lol. What do you think its going to smell like, ice cream?

It smelled of fish when we first walked in, that should of been when we walked out. The service was ok. Almost felt like there was some tension in the air. Other reviews mentioned issues with the tip, non here. Granted, we paid cash and left in a hurry. Lo mein noodles were hard, like they were from the day before and reheated. The flavor was lack luster. I'm not picky, but the food was not good. All surfaces had a stickiness to them. The Dr. Pepper was the best part...should have looked at the reviews beforehand!

The food was horrible. It was old and dried up. The building smelled of an old fish market. Worst choice we could have made. The bill was over a hundred dollars for my family of 4 and was not worth 10 bucks. Hope I wake up tomorrow.
