Hitz Pizza and Sports Bar

I have been going to Hits for years, last December I took a friend and it cost $120 for 2 of us to eat! Ridiculous high priced pizza, always burnt. Unfriendly management

Just had our office holiday party (45 people) at Hitz --- 4th year in a row and it was fabulous. The service was outstanding. And pizzas, especially the BLT pizza was excellent. I highly recommend Hitz!

Every year my extended family & I dine at Hitz Pizza the day after Thanksgiving. This year the youngest cousin of the family turned 21 and was denied at the bar due to having an out of state vertical ID. It was a disappointing experience after having her parents speak to the bartender and still unable to have her state issued (and multiple additional forms) of ID declined. After this altercation I went to purchase a drink & was threatened
by the same bartender that I should not be purchasing this cousin a drink. Sad to say we will have to find a new restaurant within Mundelein to bring our yearly tradition to. Wish that the bartender would have had some reasonability in the situation!

Nice food. friendly service, sports bar theme not my go to, we had a company outing there and that was the appropriate setting

AVOID! Don’t waste your time with this place. We Went to enjoy a birthday dinner with a party of 8. Pizza maker broken, food had long hairs from the kitchen. The worst part was the horrible manager and service. Our experience was so terrible, the manager told us our bill was covered and to leave. We left, and then the cops show up our house because she lied to her boss that we left when she told us too. We’re all older adults… my poor friend had to get escorted back to Hitz to pay a small bill we were told was covered. This place should be ASHAMED! When you tell customers you’ll cover the bill…. COVER IT AND DONT LIE TO UOUR BOSS AND SEND THE COPS!
We’ve been going to Hitz for decades and they will never be seeing us or our friends again.

Our experience at Hitz was truly awful. I don’t say this lightly—please avoid eating there.
Aside from the fact that our server never informed us that the pizza oven had broken, we ordered a salad, which had several long hairs in it. Jeff, the manager, treated us with the utmost disrespect and blamed the hairs on us instead of taking responsibility.

After we raised concerns about the dirty food, another manager offered to cover our bill and asked us to leave. To our shock, she later lied to her boss, claiming we had left without paying, and they had the audacity to call the police! The police even showed up at our home because of the manager’s lie to cover up the fact that she had offered to pay our bill. Eight witnesses, including other customers, can confirm that the manager promised to take care of it.

What a way to celebrate my mother's birthday—with the police involved in a situation at a restaurant we had trusted for decades. They will undoubtedly lose a lot of business and their connection to the local community. Shame on them!

Absolutely Terrible Experience! Our visit was a nightmare from start to finish. We were completely ignored and never took our initial order. Then, we found *two pieces of hair* in our food, which was disgusting enough, but it gets worse. A neighboring table had *a piece of fork in their food*. And when we brought this up to the manager, instead of addressing the issue professionally, they told us to just leave because they'd “take care of it.”

We leave. Then, out of nowhere, they *called the police on us*! It was completely unnecessary and over-the-top. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Awful service we order Diet Pop she kept bring tea we had a group of 6 with separate checks. We ordered first and got our food last she also added a tip on each check. She was always in a rush. .restaurant was not busy. She had to correct our bill 3 times. NEVER againforus.

Great pizza with great service makes a fantastic experience. Definitely try the Buffalo Chicken Pizza!

I had this to go, so not sure what the restaurant even looks like, but this had the best pizza i’ve tasted in a longggg time.
