This restaurant is take-out only. The girls working the front that took our order were nice. The dining area is full of stuff and is closed to guests. Unfortunately, the food was not great. The food had very little flavor and a weird texture. The shrimp in the fried rice were tiny.
I LOVE HONG KONG CHOP SUEY in MUNDELEIN!!! They treat you like family, like a friend when they answer the phone or see you walk in for your food. The cooks in the back even greet you or tell you To have a good day if they get a chance. I swear it's like the food tastes so much better there because they really care and put that good energy into making their food. Got take - out again and it was wonderful. Great portion sizes, really nice flavors and textures. The rice is done perfectly, not mushy. Competitive pricing but the flavor makes this my favorite place for take-out.
