I never thought I’d ever experience being charged extra for NOT Drinking at a bar. Apparently it’s owners policy to charge 5 dollars for a cola from a dirty soda/gun and then not include refills. Yes, so I was expected to pay 10 dollars for two cokes. One our friends was bold enough to openly complain to the bartender for not telling me this. Especially when he asked me if I wanted another coke, every sane person in the bar industry would assume it’s a free re-fill, Not at Jake morans ! Would’ve been cheaper for me to break my sobriety than to drink two cokes here. So for three claws, two mixed drinks and two COKES expect to pay half a Benjamin Franklin.

Worst experience I've ever had at any bar/ restaurant or even public facility ever! Bartender was beyond rude when my friends and I walked in. Immediately told us if we are not buying alcohol we need to get the **** out. Didn't even give us a chance to order before giving us attitude proclaiming we were loitering. Spent probably 3 minutes in this bar before leaving. Had to chug the one singular drink we ordered just to get out of there because it was clear we were not welcomed. Beyond disappointed this is a business representing Mundelein.

Besides the psycho bartender Kaitlyn, I love this place. After having my beer poured out and charged for it and pushed down the stairs by her for no reason, it's safe to say I'm not going back. Every witness to everything assured me, I did nothing wrong. I've worked with her previously, and she was never really a positive person ??♂️
Don't mistake bar and grill for your typical newer family friendly places. This is a neighborhood bar filled with colorful regulars. The jukebox plays good tunes, some regulars go outside for a smoke, and can get a little handsy with one another. So basically, a great place for people watching.
The menu is small, but...Holy cow! The burgers are phenomenal! Again, not a huge menu, but who cares. Burgers are sizable, juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries were also very good, cooked crispy and piping hot. Cole slaw, which I'm not a fan of, was crisp, flavorful and good. The food is really good and pretty cheap. We will definitely return to this hidden gem in Mundelein.

Born and raised mundelein, have never eaten here. AMAZING, PROBABLY THE BEST BURGER EVER. Small home Town dive, they have gaming, cold beer and good drinks. We frequent them often just never ordered food. TRY IT. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

This is a cool neighborhood bar but the light pollution from their outdoor lights is awful. Its in 24/7 and is very unappreciated by the neighbors. Please install some appropriate commercial lighting perhaps on a motion detector.
