Sad ?Don't go. Phone disconnected. I still went to order Patty Melt but zero ppl there & kitchen closed on Thurs nite? INSTEAD go to Teddy O'Brian's a couple of blocks away, hopping w/ppl enjoying GREAT food, atmosphere! Happy I finally got an excellent Patty Melt at Teddy's & ran into a close/family friend as a bonus?JAMES, the CHEF EXTROAIRDINARE RULES‼️

I didn't eat any food so I gave 3 stats, I was there for the slots! This place is nice, great selection of games to play, AC is on SUPER COLD! Blows right on you so wear your thin coat! Only thing I didn't like was some lady wanted to use the machine I was on but when I was done she never asked me was I done. She walked to her punk husband and said "he's just sitting there and I wanna play!" Now I heard her but she decided to go to another guy who worked there and said she wanted to play where I was. Now 2/6 are in use, one im sitting at and just took my phone out. Next thing I know the husband is asking me from the bar am I playing? I was like naw just finished, like 10 sec later the worker guy walks up and says hey you can't sit here the lady wants to play here! I was like ok I know I heard her tell her husband '15ft away from me, and her husband told me as well, now I've got you telling me all within the last 40 secs... I get it. Funny the woman nvr said or asked me herself but she sends you guys like your some type of bouncer! She can ask herself right? The guy says 'well that happens sometimes', I said well don't act on it and next time ask if they asked the person first! We all grown adults here. I moved, she bumps me like I wasn't there, passes by me 2 more times hitting me with her purse and I like cmon! I know you see me here, you can feel yer purse being held up by something right?! That lady was scared of a 130 guy that looks like he still early 20's besides that it was fine! I was winning!

Sadly our first visit was on a Monday nite 5:15, had a craving for broasted chicken. Upon entry the bar server announced their kitchen would not be open until 7:30, so can't really give a rating. If they had made a social media update would have saved a less than average review and we'd try another time. In today's age of immediate communication this was not expected.

Not for everyone, but it's a nice friendly place to go. You can call it a dive bar or a neighborhood bar. The owner (cook) and bartenders have all worked there for decades, and they know allmost all the patrons, since most of the patrons are regular. The regular patrons are friendly as well. Fairly priced. The hamburgers are absolutely the best around.

Went there at midnight as soon as i turned 21. The casino me in with a vertical ID. most bars would. I even looked up the law for illinois and it said its ok to sell when its legally midnight or the day i turn 21. I guess they just cant accept vertical ID's even though i was legally 21 and the license was not expired. Had a an appointment at the DMV in the morning to get my new license that wasn't going to change their mind. I do not blame the girl who turned me down she was just doing whatever her boss or the owner told her to do. Its just difficult because i even tried to call the number that apple maps gives me for this establishment and couldnt connect wasnt a valid number. Sent me and my buddies on a disappointing walk home. Was really a buzz kill. I guess i will come back when the dmv sends me my new ID. Will be going to the casino in des plaines. They have open minds and accept 21 year olds.
