I should have walked out as soon as I noticed there was no one else there but me - at dinner time. Worst burrito I've had in a while, couldn't even finish it. When you go to a restaurant at either lunch or dinner time, and there's no one there, there is a 99% chance the food is not good. I have no idea how this place is so highly rated on Google reviews, they must be reviews from family/friends etc.

Incredible food!! Absolutely delicious! 11/10! Highly recommend! It’s a true shame that it shares a strip with Chicago ramen bc they suck. EVERYONE COME HERE FOR GREAT TACOS AT AN EVEN BETTER PRICE!

I’ve been to Maria’s a handful of times and they never fail to meet my expectations. They’re welcoming, kind, and have adjusted their menu items to my preferences many times. They definitely have the best Mexican food in the Lake County area. I would give them 6 stars if I could! Highly recommend.

Salsa choices were awesome. Lengua taco salad was a great option to have, only had it offered for tacos in other places. Everything was fresh, authentic and served quickly.

I was in the area viewing apartments & stopped by this Mexican restaurant for a late lunch, based on good reviews. The guacamole was excellent. The grilled steak was well seasoned, the enchilada was warm & gooey. It also came with grilled peppers & onions, beans, rice & tortillas (your choice of corn or flour). They have a salsa bar for the chips & for your meal. Each was unique & the XX warning should have clued me in as to what to use sparingly. There is an orange tinged creme sauce that you may mistake for cheese. It is habanero creme & it is HOT! 🔥 Good flavor, but definitely not for the faint of heart.
