Went to El Mana bakery (previously La Luz bakery) to get a cake for my friend’s birthday and the cake design was amazing! I would highly recommend this place for everyone!!
Excellent bakery goods and friendly service! Highly recommend for out of town visitors looking for a quality snack.
I went to buy a cake during their normal business hours but they had none available. I went at a different time and a cake was available. A woman at the counter was wiping around the cake with a not so clean towel without any gloves on. She spoke over the cake the whole time while she wiped it dry of milk.
A man came out whom I asked to write something. He also did that without any gloves on. The handle cash and touch food without ever washing their hands.
The cake was awful. It was bitter. The milk was not soaked up by the cake and it was running everywhere. The taste of the cake was unacceptable, though it looked pretty. Their service is also bad with no interest of selling. They charge higher if you pay by credit card. Not buying from here again. Wasted $40 but learned a lesson.

Today I went to the bakery and I didn't have many shells, and when I asked the kid who was on his personal phone if he had more shells, he just shook his head and continued with the talk.
La Luz bakery, a common spot we take out from, is a great option for unique items and flavors. Along with this, their prices make it easy to try something new for less than Starbucks prices. I would recommend you ask what everything is before you buy it; there is a high chance it is different than what you would think. Overall, this is a great local bakery that I would recommend people try out.

I bought a quesadilla and it was bad, I went back to the store, they didn't want to give me my money back and I had terrible service.

I always pass by this bakery, to work but wasn't sure to come because I see the parking lot empty. As I came in, I found out why. Because it's fast service during the week, everything is almost labeled & you can just ask for the prices. The conchas don't have cinnamon ? & my cookie with fruit was a bit soggy but the cashier knew it so he gave me a deal. ?? They have a lot of items including cake to cookies & bread.
