The food was good. Service was friendly and attentive. The frozen margaritas tasted watered down. Probably one of the worst I've had in a while.

This restaurant is 5 stars just off the bat. The food/presentation is amazing. Nothing to complain about whatsoever. The employees/servers are INCREDIBLY nice and treat everyone with respect, care, and great service. The atmosphere looks incredible too. It feels like you are actually in Mexico. I would totally recommend for anyone in the area. It is worth it.

My wife and I moved to Mundelein from Austin Texas last summer, and let me tell you...this place is the real deal! After 30 years in ATX this place is our home away from home. Can't go wrong with the ceviche, fajitas or tacos and their skinny marg is one of the best I have ever had...and trust me...that's saying something!

I want to preface this by saying I used to love this place, and have been going here for years. The food has just gone down hill. The wait staff is lovely, but they need new chefs or at least change their practices. The nachos were burned and weren't worth the 9 dollars. Ordered a chimichonga with marinated chicken, the chicken marinade had no flavor. The chimichonga itself was soggy, not deep fried, and definitely the same ones I got from another place so they are definitely not made here... I always order chimichongas here so I know what they used to be like but, this tastes exactly like a chicken nugget, no flavor not even salt, just bread and boiled chicken. I can't say I'll be returning again. You guys really had something great; sad to see it ruined like this.

I am hoping that this place will not close. I was told that it is in the way of a bridge. Love the food..live the people and love the giant bull in the dining room. I smack his butt for good luck. If they close I would buy him for my front yard..something to be said

We have been coming here for over 15 years about once a month and I have never had a bad meal. The waiters are amazing and really nice.
