We came around the same time as the church crowd on a Sunday. We waited about 45 minutes, which I expected. All the staff that I spoke with were all friendly. Once seated, our orders arrived relatively quickly, given the crowd. Our orders were perfect, very good, and the portions were good too. I got an omelet, Southwest???, it had their homemade chorizo, jalapeños, cheese, ham, etc., it was very good. We both liked the French toast as well. We went there because of the good...

The coffee was excellent, just like a cozy diner should have. The Maurie Eggs Benedict looked great, but ordered the cornbeef hash. It was excellent. The vibes are 1980/90s diner. Service was spot on with free flowing coffee and prompt attentive service. Must drop in for a bite.

Another local fabulous eatery in Mundelein! Second time visiting and the food is just super good. We got the Mauri’s poached egg plate and western omelette. The people who run the diner are just super nice and our server also. See you next time!
