The man who was there was such a treat to talk to! I loved every minute I was there and the banana bread with chocolate chips are to die for! I haven’t tried the cake yet but i’m so excited! Definitely recommend coming here!

Best cakes and soups I have ever had! Everything is made fresh and tastes delicious! John and Nana are friendly and work hard to cook wonderful soups and treats. I have brought cakes to work and parties and they are always tasty and fresh. Even the gluten free foods melt in your mouth. Give them a try you'll be happy you did!

Love this place. Nana's soups are wonderful. She always has some fresh and others frozen. If you want a delicous, healthy homemade dinner and you don't feel like cooking....stop looking. Rum cakes are delicous as well.

Friendly staff — and GREAT products. The assorted cake balls were all good, and — a surprise — they have soup! I highly recommend the mushroom brie. Oh — and as a first-time customer, they let me try a piece of vanilla rum cake. It was good, especially the top part (extra soaked).

My mom and dad came swore by this place, I thought how good could soup and doughnuts be? Do NOT sleep on Nanas! Everytime I come home to visit I buy entirely too much soup. Ya'll want a homemade meal, this is the spot.

The price seems high if you're used to buying premade stuff at big chain stores, and the presentation may be unadorned, but they make good food. I would rather pay for quality than presentation. The food all looks great too so I would say the price is right. The soup menu was huge for what I expected. There are passionate people running this business. I've never been disappointed buying the little cake balls. I plan to get the next holiday/celebration cake I need here. I also think these cakes would make a great alternative wedding cake to the traditional sort ;)

What a great find in Mundelein ! Delicious bakery goods and her signature rum cakes. But just as good as her bakery treats are her homemade soups--a large selection and everyone we've had so far has been great.
