Cool Ambiance but the food was so-so

I always enjoy stopping by Park Street. Whether I’m dining inside or enjoying the outdoor patio, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting perfect for catching up with friends. The portions are generous and the service is friendly without being over-the-top. It's just a comfortable spot to enjoy tasty eats and drinks in a laidback setting.

If you’re a foodie, I would avoid this place. Their food needs a lot more love and craft, I don’t trust these other reviews... Park Street your menu looks great but if you can, improve your recipes

I tried the Alaskan salmon, Mexican street corn, and lobster bisque.

Came here with 2 other couples and our children on Friday 6/6 and sat outside. It was not busy at all around 5pm. Every time a food runner came out, he stopped at every table to ask if it was theirs, as if there was no system or numbered tables. They messed up 3 of our entrees, one they never even got the right meal out so we just ate what we got and paid for it. Then we had to chase the server and the bartender and server down multiple times for our drinks that they charged us, but never brought out. I had second hand embarrassment for them. How do you have such a prime location with such terrible service? I understand a bad night, but this was ridiculous. And then the sewer backed up so we just left and went to Emil's to finish feeding everyone. I have tried this place a few times over the years, and consistently have bad service while others rave over this place. Our friends that were with us even had their wedding and baby shower here and were floored at how Friday played out. Very disappointing and a waste of $200!

I recently had a garden salad. It cost $17.00. It had two tiny grape tomatoes cut in half, no chick peas, - as menu stated, two thin cucumber slices cut in half, wilty lettuce and few roasted brussel sprouts. The dressing was from bottle and not balsamic vinegar. It was edible but really disappointing. Other offerings I have had lately were also disappointing. They have Libertyville prices but inferior food. Tina Gs is pricey but you get much better food.

I moved to Mundelein a year ago and this place has become my absolute favorite. There have been streaks where I have been dining there weekly.
Here are my menu highlights: the lobster bisque soup is rich and savory: I have had almost all of their pizzettis and cannot decide which I like best (maybe the garlic and goat), but my all-time favorite menu item is the garlic naan grilled cheese. Everything about it is perfect.
This kitchen makes some really unique and flavorful dishes. I cannot recommend them enough.

I've eaten here once and gotten take out a few times. The exotic grilled cheeses are amazing but I can't stop ordering the street corn pizzetti. I don't really like pizza that much but the crispy flaky pizzetti is so delicious and unique!

We just ordered take out and all our food was awful. I had ordered the Park St Burger and the bun was so stale, the meal was so dry, and the fries were incredibly soggy. The others who ordered with me also did not enjoy their meal.

Do not recommend this place.

The food here is surprisingly great! Very friendly and efficient wait staff (we’ve had Henry every time). Feel like most people don’t know it’s here - hidden treasure in Mundelein. Looks to be locally owned as well, the guy with the picture on the wall was also tending bar - come support this place!

Greeted at the door with a smile! Waitress was a bit slow servicing our table, however she was the only one and we were patient. Great food and flavors! The beer and drink selection was awesome. If you like the food, buy the kitchen a beer which we did!

We have been here about 15 years ago, owners and food have changed. I think the food was done well, but not for my taste buds. My dinner had way too much sweet souse. I don't want to give them a poor rating just because it was not to my personal liking. I have never seen this place empty before. Not sure if we would return.

Ordered the chicken with linguine but instead of Pesto I asked if they could do butter noodles. And they did it was fabulous.
