Great experience at Pita Inn in Mundelein! I had the vegetarian entrée and my boyfriend had the spicy chicken shawarma—both were fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was really welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Food is good but service is awful. When you try to call them they put you on hold and won’t answer back. I just called in right now and the lady wouldn’t take my order and then hung up on me. When I tried to call back she left the receiver off so the call wouldn’t go through. So sad as pita inn used to be amazing with customer service. Instead of getting pita inn I’m now ordering from elsewhere and pita inn has lost a long time (15+ years) customer but I doubt they care. This has been going on for too long and finally decided to write a review.

Probably the best Mediterranean food in Chicago. Never had anything that wasn't tasty and the prices are reasonable. Best tiziki sauce and hot sauce too.
We have been coming to Pita Inn for 15-30 years. The food is very tasty, fresh and we keep on coming back to Pita Inn regardless of the distance we have to travel.

Pita Inn never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, and you really get amazing quality for the price. Their hummus and falafel are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the chicken shawarma is packed with flavor. The staff is friendly, quick, and efficient, even when it’s busy. The restaurant is always clean and well-kept, which makes the dining experience even better. Whether it’s dine-in or takeout, everything is consistent and delicious. Definitely my go-to spot for Mediterranean food!
