Pretty basic sit down location with Great food. Chips and salsa Included with meal and they were pretty good. Taco's were great, lots of flavors in both chicken and steak. Mexican coke was flat but they do offer it.

I am from Spain and I love Mexican food, in tacos del norte Mandelein looks like he is in Mexico eating. The seasoning is very good. The waitresses are very friendly. The bathroom is very clean. I really recommend it 100%. When I visit Mandelein again I will return for sure. I attach photographs of the food. Thank you so much Tacos el Norte.

My husband bought five beef Milanese cakes to take home at the Tacos del Norte restaurant in Mundelein. My husband ordered them with everything. I will tell you that a person who knows about cemitas and composite cakes and with even more reason if they are Milanese, they know perfectly well what they have. avocado because this is essential for the good flavor because I will tell you that they paid for them and we went home half an hour away from the restaurant. Legamis to my son and my husband and I prepared to eat them I reviewed them and we left realizing that four Of these they only had a piece of milanesa, it did not cover the telera, the milanesa is half the size of the telera, that is, the bread and it did not have avocado, I called to complain and the person who answered said that the cook told him to put his milanesa, that was all for him. We are a mediocre restaurant with mediocre cakes, we will not buy there again.
English Readers: staff very rude and unprofessional and quality of food does not match the price they charged for it. They will rob you, customers beware.

I've been to a couple Tacos El Norte and this one has been my favorite experience yet! The prices are extremely reasonable compared to the others and the service was good. If I'm in the area again, I'm definitely coming back!

Ordered from door dash and I got the steak/shrimp fajitas and it was really good. I'm from Arizona where mexican food is the BEST so I was skeptical - but this was more than decent - definitely would order again! I would have loved if they gave me napkins or utensils as I was in a hotel.
