We drove all the way over from Hoffman Estates, walked in, and told that only the bakery was open. It wouldn't be for a couple more hours until the restaurant opens back up. The chefs goes home for a nap. As my wife was talking to the hostess, I quickly went on their website and had to scroll to the bottom to see some vague writing about the restraunts hours. They should have this at the top in bold and better worded. What a waste of a trip.

The diner feels old but homey. Food is just average but feels like home cook food. Meat was hard and a bit overcook.

We stopped in for the first time and had a wonderful experience!
We had really great food, I ordered a savory and very flavorful mushroom and spinach crepe with Swiss cheese, and my husband ordered eggs Benedict, on a croissant, light and fluffy eggs, with a light and flavorful hollandaise sauce, clearly the owner knows what he is doing in the kitchen. I mentioned it was my birthday and the owned gave me macrons for my birthday! I even left with a beautiful cake!

Perfect cozy romantic date night: the salmon was amazing and so was the duck. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We brought home some turnovers for breakfast the next day!

My French class visited this location for lunch. We all tried different food.
Quiche Lorraine was a bit hit, as well as croque monsieur. The soup of the day was pumpkin which was fantastic.
Our server, Natalie, was wonderful. Most of us had not been there before so she was giving us recommendations. It was also fun to practice our French speaking!
We got desserts to go so I have an eclair to look forward to.
I will definitely return, maybe for dinner

Tried the French toast with berry sauce. It was the best I've had! The server told me it was fresh-baked and the sauce made it perfect!
