Love this cute place! The mini Eiffel Tower inside was a cute surprise. The Chocolate Mousse Dome was as beautiful as it was yummy! The Ham & Brie crepes and Tomato Basil Goat Cheese omelettes are delicious! Portions are generous. The cookies & pastries tasted homemade good. Lunch, including beverage, dessert, AND tax, $30. Taste of Paris consistently has been making some of the best baked goods in Mundelein for over a decade! Anytime I'm in town or passing by, I try to stop in and grab a few croissants or anything else that might be in the bakery case, guaranteed it's always delicious!!

I want to say first is that my rating is based off my experience. My boyfriend and I decided to try going here for brunch. When we arrived, there were a few seats available in the front next to their display of the Effical Tower. I was looking forward to taking romantic pictures of my love and I under it. Instead the server placed us at my table the back next to the kitchen.

I was livid at this point and my boyfriend noticed. We waited for her return to get another table ( never did, if I remember she was working at the front desk and had red hair).

I want to thank the waitress who switched our table to a more appropriate one. She was a wonderful server and the food was great.

Unfortunately I won't be returning because of that first waitress lack of appropriation toward other ethic backgrounds. My advice is proper ethic training and better awareness because girl clearly did not care that the customer was upset which is a lack empathy on her part.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. We are from out of town and was surprised to find a place like this near by . For a Paris themed French restaurant the breakfast was surprising basic . It was fine overall but not really “French” . The eggs Benedict sandwich was underwhelming. The Hollandaise sauce was kinda vinegary , not good. The staff was very nice , no complaints there . However changed my order from hot coffee to iced, which is on the menu. He looked perplexed . At a French restaurant and you’re thinking the coffee should be great . Nah… better than Folgers but not by much. Strike two in the French department. We did get some pastries to go. No complaints, they were good. Not a place I feel the need to return to next time we are in the area .Though great car watching . Ferrari was outside and later saw some other unique imports . I do like that .

I hate reviewing this place because it is the true deal: charming, cheap and chewy! I always marvel why they don't have lines out the door. Classic French brunch, including crepes and quiche. Get the brioche toast. Get the potatoes. Life is short. Everyone should eat those potatoes, saturated in butter and teeny onions, once in their life.

I swear we spend as much on what we take home from the bakery as we do on the breakfast check. Good Lord, the pasteries!

Perfect little gem that once you eat here, you'll want to go back! Found it randomly, but so glad we did! Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Menu highlights many French dishes. We had the baked goat cheese with tomato/basil sauce - to die for! Hangar steak was tender, flavorful, and melted in your mouth. Salmon was cooked to perfection and the piquillo sauce was fresh and a great accompaniment. Chicken Cordon Bleu was tender, flavorful, and a delicious Dijon sauce. French onion soup was the perfect mixture of seasoning and saltiness. Desserts were fabulous! So many to choose from! Make it a point to dine here! Will be back to try lunch and breakfast which I'm sure will be equally delicious! Fantastic job Taste of Paris!

Server seated me as I waited for my party. No water or coffee offered until my party arrived. We had to waive her down as it was a busier am. Food was good.

Got the Croque Monsieur and it was a great ham sandwich. Also picked up a couple almond croissants and they were great. Will be back.
