Not my cup of tea (not a huge country fan). But the place itself was really good. Went there for my cousin's 40th. She loves it there. The atmosphere is great. There were so many line dancers. Ample women there for the youngbloods.

Had the wings by the restaurant area and they were awesome. Nicely decorated for the holiday. Everyone left my area once the bands started to play to see them in the main bar area.

Very disappointed, very rude the owner of the place, I asked for a drink and did not want to sell it because the bottle was on the other side of the bar, we paid for a table and not even so they wanted to make me a wiskey with mineral water it is incredible that they do not know how to treat their customers with kindness but what can I expect from such ignorant people?

I'm in the Great Lakes area for a few weeks for school. I am staying in Waukegan and decided to Google "country bars" well Sundance Saloon popped up at the top of my search so I read some reviews and looked at their website. It was a Saturday night so they had two bands lined up. Wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as I got there one of the bands were already performing and everyone was having a great time! The guy working the door was really cool and the bar tenders were on point and fast with their service! I plan on going again on Friday to checkout their line dancing night and possibly Saturday night for the next bands!! Inhighly recommend checking Sundance Saloon out if you want to have a good night out in a real bar setting!!

I absolutely love this place not only is the food good but the staff has always been great. Totally recommend Angie’s pickle shots. I’ve been here for multiple events (live music, country dancing, even had both my sister’s wedding showers here) they never disappoint! Can’t wait to see two of my favorite bands this weekend! Keep up the great work Sundance!! We love you!

We had a great time with family. The bands were really great! My only complaint is, the wings we ordered were cold! They'll need to improve on this! That being said, we'll most likely visit again when we're in town.

Today was the last day I will go to the Sundance Saloon. Over the past ten years, every single time I have an interaction with the owner, she has been consistently rude and abrasive. Today when she tried to charge me for tap water in a cup, and I clarified I did not want the bottle of water, she slammed down the bottled water on the counter, and told me I could pay $3.50 for either, she didn't care, but I would be paying for the water, if I wasn't drinking alcohol. I don't drink alcohol. I hadn't even gotten to the point that I was ready to buy a lemonade. I told her I'd been to her place 4 times and had gotten water in a cup for free every time, she told me that I had run into the wrong bartender. I walked away and told her it was illegal to do that. She yelled at me to go ahead and call the police. I walked back over to my friends, told them what was happening, and looked up the information online to show her. ITM, she walked over with her bouncer, told me that if I didn't like it, I could leave her establishment right then. I told her I didn't like what she was doing, but I had told everybody anyway. She then kicked me out with bouncer in tow. Over WATER! My friends tried to talk to her, but she would have none of it. I told my friends to stay because we love that band and wanted to support them. Each one of my friends has since told me that if they had to do it over again, they would have left with me. They were going to go to the October event but all are now boycotting this establishment. BTW, EVERY person I have talked to has been shocked by the charging of tap water. They have all responded that there are other places to go. If you want to say upfront that you have a "1 drink MUST buy minimum", then you need to say that at the door. There are LOTS of other places to go with actual smiling customer service. Go there instead.
