Lived in Mundelein for22 years. I have since moved to Texas. I visit many microbreweries along my travels. It’s always a treat to come home and see my hometown brewery thriving. What a wonderful establishment with great craft beer. Keep up the great work. Cheers
We have been to many breweries across the country. This place is one of the best! The beer is top notch and the staff has always been fabulous!
Service was quick and friendly. Boxcar Porter tastes great. Decor is decent.
Back on St Paddies Day for an Oatmeal stout. Very flavorful and smooth. Highly recommended.
Great beer and Friendly vibes at this place on the other side of the tracks (IYKYK). Hands down some of the best brews in Mundelein, if not all of Lake County. 10/10
Really busy , needed other bar open
Beer is great, but these breweries need to grow some cherries and start doing something about the little cretins that run wild in their taproom. Has Chuck E Cheese closed up shop?
Great beer selection, the best bartenders.
Great atmosphere with a nice outdoor area. Dog and family friendly. Good beer, especially if you like IPAs.
What more can I say? Great beer and an equally great bar.
The Boxcar Porter is outstanding as is the Scarlet>Fire red ale.
Staff is great and offers great suggestions.
Definitely a must visit if you're in the area.

Best brewery in lake county. All the beers are fantastic, especially the pale ales. Chilly Water is a must try, Bear’s Choice is probably the best thing they have. The space is great, especially now that it’s been expanded. The outdoor seating is great in the summer and they have food trucks all the time. Very kid and dog friendly.
Tighthead has some of the best craft beer in Lake County, IL. They are a big supporter of live music, have indoor/outdoor seating & a variety of food trucks on select days. Friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
Baby Shower Party it was great lots of room and private restrooms for the party area.
Great service, beer selection could be larger but the beers they do have were enjoyable. I'll put it on my return trip list! It would be nice if they had food or food trucks on the weekend. Regardless experience was very good.
