Great variety of craft beers that all tasted good. Nice decor that made for an inviting atmosphere inside and out.

Great beers great service. The indoor space is ho-hum, but the outdoor space was bumping and looks like where it's at. Also, I want to support your brewery...why is your achwag so boring?

This place is HOME! I live out of state and everytime I’m back to visit the fam for the holidays, my best friend and I make a point to stop in an have a few pints. The service is always stellar, the vibe is always fun and the beer is always delicious! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! The new renovations just add to an already-above-and-beyond experience! <3 thank you, Tighthead!

Beer is fantastic and the staff is wonderful. They have a large, gorgeously lit event space where they have live music most Thursdays - Saturdays. Their main front tap room looks into the back brewing area. There is also a large front patio area (with heaters for cooler fall months) and a grassy lawn area/beer garden. Food trucks are there multiple nights throughout the week and there’s trivia night on Wednesdays. Kid-friendly and inclusive, Tighthead is truly the best!

The product never disappoints. The staff is amongst the most friendly one can find. Being a familiar face brings warmth with each welcome. The expanded space for live music with a 2nd bar area has been a brilliant addition. Super acts are coming in weekly.

Best brewery to hang out and chill with friends. Travis and Nick; and the other bartenders are the nicest people around and will take good care of you!

The perfect event space! We wanted to have our wedding rehearsal dinner at our favorite spot in Mundelein. Mark and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. We had plenty of space and private bathrooms. Everyone had an amazing time!
Great brewery in a hard to find location in Mundelein. It's actually close to the Metra station. Tighthead is known for having a pretty good variety. Mostly it's about the beer here. You can also get some frozen drinks, or come for the live music and things like that. After being here a few times, I have tried a few beers. It's about $6.50 a pint. That's not bad for a craft brewery like this. A good one is the 3 Lefts. This is a Mexican lager, and there's a hint of lime and saltiness. If you don't want beer, there's also cider. There's not really much food except the chips and containers of pretzels. Finding it can be hard at first. It's certainly hidden. There's enough people who can find it apparently, because the patio gets pretty hopping for the music or whatever.

Beer was better than the service. All the beers are listed by names that give no clue as to the type of beer the name represents. I felt the bartender was being asked a stupid question when asking what type of beer certain " names " were.I drank my 10 ounce session beer and left. Sorry I was so difficult. I won't be back.

Beer is good, staff not so much.Unfortunately bartender had a bad day or something. She was totally unfriendly.
