I really wanted to like this place. I really did. But there is no way to get around food that is mediocre at best. I wanted to like it because a new friend invited me out to dinner. The evening was nice and I thoroughly enjoyed an almost two hour conversation that covered myriad subjects. The conversation gave me a good cover to not eat the whole plate...or even close to the whole plate. I had the spaghetti carbonara. From the moment I saw it I was disappointed. It looked far from creamy and unctious and was in fact rather dry. The prosciutto was dry and overcooked and more like thick cut bacon. Was there egg in the sauce? Hard to tell. The peas were the best thing on the plate. Our server was really nice, welcoming, and attentive. She did a great job, earning the restaurant a pair of stars instead of just the one from the food alone.

I recently went here with my family after a colleague of mine, recommended it. The first course that we had was calamari, and they were much larger pieces than I'm accustomed to, and the breading was a little bit soggy however, the second appetizer we ordered was clams, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our meals were outstanding, and we will definitely be coming back on a sidenote from a service perspective I came with my wife and three children, one of which is eight months old. The hostess or manager offered for us to sit in a private room for the door that closes as there was some music in the background. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and exceptional people.!

What a gem in lake county! Having a unique and private Italian restaurant easily accessible no matter where you live in the area…how I have missed this for so long? The staff was attentive- and bc they wanted to be! The food was delicious! I could actually hear my table mate speak unlike so many loud and too packed restaurants!I will definitely be back!!

Amazing dishes. Went with friends and tasted all of them...so good! I also loved the Rose Royce cocktail. Refreshing and served in a beautiful glass. I look forward to my next visit!

The wine prices are WAAY out of whack, but the food is good, though not very consistent. The service could also be better, but we saw the owner more than our waitress, so they are probably short-staffed. WILL be back.

Came here for a party, the appetizers were great, service was great, but my main dish was far from enjoyable. I had the waygu burger, asked for medium rare. Definitely more of a rare burger and usually I ask for medium because this is a common problem alot of places I visit, but I decided to give them a shot at cooking it properly, my bottom bun was red and soggy to say the least. This surprisingly wasn't my issue at all though, my issue came from the lack of any seasoning and the lack of color on the outside of the meat. When I lifted my bun there was absolutely no color, it was gray meat that was extremely underseasoned. Not enjoyable by far. Everything else was great though. ?
