The ambiance is spectacular, and the location is great. The decor is simplified yet apparent. The service was friendly but fairly slow. The quality of the latte was simply lacking and the hot chocolate was very underwhelming. The chocolate muffin seemed stale and the scone was almost chalky at times. This IS the best latte I've had so far in Murphysboro, so while I won't make a special trip there, if I happen to pass by and fancy some underwhelming caffeine, I may frequent again.

It took 9 minutes for us to get our drinks, and the chocolate chip muffin I received was about two or three days old. It's not a good first impression. But if I am around this area again, I think I will have to give them a second chance.

I went in for a coffee & pastry at 10 am on a Sunday. I was told they were out of regular coffee for the day, and was offered an espresso instead. Apparently they were closing at noon, and didn't feel like they could sell the whole pot in the next two hours, so why bother for one customer. Also didn't see any appetizing pastries. Left without buying anything. What coffee shop closes at noon on Sunday? You're missing the after church crowd.

Lily is literally, the best. Her customer service delivers the perfect balance of professionalism + yet somehow I feel like I've been going there for years. It's so warm & home-y.

I've also slowly learned a few more things about speciality coffee just by being a new customer. Worth my 30 min drive from Marion.

I always ask them to SURPRISE ME with any coffee, and without fail, they exceed my expectations with their flavorful and perfectly crafted drinks.

I was thrilled to discover that Cold Blooded Coffee & Roastery now carries Grinds coffee pouches. As a coffee enthusiast always on the move, this addition has made me love this place even more! I suggested different flavor variety to the owner, and I'm so grateful that he took my recommendation seriously. Now, I can enjoy their fantastic coffee and coffee pouches even when I'm on the run.

Stopped here first before a day of hiking. Had a amazing Thai Chai Latte with added vanilla and sweetness (chai is not the presweetened kind. So good! Friends ordered just standard brew, cold brew and Italian cream soda (cold and delicious). Everything was on point and barista was informative and friendly. A great place to meet friends the storefront has great hang out vibes.
