My husband's blood sugar was way low so we stopped at Murphysboro McDonald's to grab some FAST food. 25 minutes later still waiting. My husband needs food. Like REALLY needs food. It was ridiculous. The Shorts would not have tolerated this. I would know as I worked for them back in the day. 25 minutes to get food out would have gotten you fired.

We have not had one good experience with this McDonald’s. I am currently in their drive thru for over 30 minutes now! And this isn’t the first time that this has happened. The wait is always awful. And when I got my order it wasn’t even complete so I had to park and walk in. And they still didn’t complete my order. I had to walk up to the counter twice!! Worse McDonald’s by far.

Went inside to get our orders to go and waited over 15 minutes for our food, and our number was never called out so it sat for several minutes. Also took forever to get an employee to acknowledge us to place the order. No soda fountain or condiments station inside the lobby either.

No self serve fountain drinks in the lobby. Went through the drive through and ordered sausage egg mcmuffin and a small drink. The engliah muffin was not toasted and only filled my small drink 3/4 full. Went back inside to finish filling it, but there were no soda fountain stations in the customer lobby. If you want a refill of coffee or soda you have to stand in line and ask for it. No eye contact even when handing my card and receipt back. No thank you. Just puts her arm out with card and receipt. Only went here 2 times, but both were bad experiences.

Food tastes fine but inside/lobby service is straight-up buns. Like actually terrible. They prioritize drive-thru and curbside so much that actual in-person customers get forgotten. It’s been over 20 mins and no one can find my order. Do better.
