Anthem Ale House is a great place to go for a meal or just drinks. Staff is friendly and courteous. I plan on going back soon.

Great place! First time here and what a pleasant surprise. Rangoons were the best we’ve had. Look forward to trying the sushi next!

Anthem is much more than your average restaurant/bar! There’s fun post work activities—karaoke, bingo, theme nights—most days of the week. The staff are exceptional, especially the bartender Tiara! If you sit at the bar she will take good care of you—she remembers your favorite drink, makes great recommendations and is super personable. Highly recommend anyone to stop by for a visit and you’ll end up visiting again too!
Great bar food and atmosphere!
Food was great and the service was excellent .
Absolutely love this place! The karaoke nights on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are always a blast – such a fun and welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is great, but what really keeps me coming back is Tiarra, the bartender. She’s incredibly friendly, always has a water ready for me with a smile 😊, and makes everyone feel like family. Her kindness and attention to detail are unmatched – she’s truly the heart of the place. Can’t recommend it enough!

Tiara is so attentive and takes great care of her customers! Many many many come back because Tiara treats her customers like family. Kindness, respect and awesome drinks!
$19 Fish and Chips. Unbelievable. Too much money for that.
Oh, they charge you more if you don’t pay in cash.
My husband and I came for dinner. Really odd place, partially a sushi place and partially bar food. We got 2 drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees, and it costed $100. The food was good, but not $100 good. The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice and chill. But we will probably never go again.

Service was great. Food wasn't bad, but over priced for the offering. An $18 burger, or $17 wings, need to go beyond standard bar fare. Nothing groundbreaking on the app menu. And.....not to hate on Aldi's but a Burmans ketchup seems like a cost cutting decision indicative of the overall operation. Also, please give the condiment bottles a good wipe down. Change the caps my heavens.
Awesome place on 59. I’m from the city and this place amazed me with their service, class, and professional cocktails. 100 percent have to visit.
Terrible experience. The place smelled like a dirty mop. The food was bland at best. The ketchup tasted like the bottle was used for other condiments. The whole place was grimy. We came because the burgers looked decent, but they were clearly frozen patties and had no flavor. The mayo bottle was something out of a horror movie. They charge you a fee if you use a credit card. They didn’t know how to chop onions. The waitress we had was the only redeemable quality.
Went there for sushi .. who knew 🤷♂️
Sushi was excellent and service was great. Much better than the last time I went there. Much improved!
The bar is right in the middle of the place and kind of the star of the show, with booths and tables in the back. The crowd is good, the service is solid, and there are TVs everywhere playing all kinds of channels. Pop music was on the radio, which added to the chill vibe. It’s a great spot to hang out or grab some comfort food, whether you’re in a booth or at a table.
There’s also a nice outdoor seating area that’s great for spring, summer, or fall. Winter? Not so much—no heaters out there. Still, it’s a cozy space with nice lighting outside, and the string lights inside over the bar add to the whole atmosphere.
We came on a Thursday and got the boneless wings because they were $1 each (Thursday special). At that price, they were totally fine. But normally, it’s $11 for six wings, which I wouldn’t say is worth it—just decent wings.
We also tried the Southwest salad and the Anthem Burger, which is their signature dish. The salad was good (hard to mess up a salad), but the burger? Meh. It was pretty average, maybe even below that. For $18 (including fries), I didn’t think it was worth it.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for the vibe, happy hour deals, or just hanging out. For a full-price meal, I’d keep your expectations in check.
