We booked the restaurant for my husband's 60'th bday. All of the arrangements went with bumps, Kelly was busy or not answering the phone. The day of party, instead of a big room, they prepared just half of a tiny room with 5 tables (we had agreed to 7 tables). The manager came and started to argue with me, pointing to agreements on paper, which apparently was not updated. Finally they moved the divider wall and we got the rest of the room. In the room tables are too big, you can barely walk around or some of our guests was sitting squeezed in. That room absolutely needs an upgrade, the colors are dark, the chairs look very poor,,,, no, hangers for coats, room got super hot, and does not have any ventilation. Almost all of our pictures look horrible because the chairs are all damaged and it looks like we are in the cheap pub. Its clear we will not have any more big parties at this restaurant. The party room was below our expectations, for this level of a restaurant? The food was very good and delicious! 10 points for the kitchen! ?

I made an order for delivery and I got the wrong sandwich. I got a spicy sandwich instead of a plain. I also got the Fries that were cold and congieled before I got them. My driver only took 3 minutes to get from the restaurant to my location. The flavors were good but the quality was not.

Rugged spartan

Overpriced and my mushroom burger was not tasty. It was overcooked and dry with sub par ingredients. Also ordered a regular chicken sandwhich and received something else. I was very displeased with this restaurant.

First time here we were staying at a local hotel and they recommended this establishment to us. 3 in our party and we all had the prefix steak option for 59.00 which was an excellent value and came with a soup or salad, potato or vegetables and a desert. Our server was very good and they kept our cocktails full. That being said martini at 15 and wine at 17 was about average but not overly impressive cocktails. I would tell you to try them if in the area.bill was around 350 with tax and tip.

Personable/friendly service. Food outstanding.. Four of us each with different appetizers, main course and deserts, raves from all.

Was an awful experience. Went for my birthday and got the Waygu and lobster mashed potatoes and they really cheaped out on the lobster part. My partner ordered the filet mignon and mac and cheese and it was very sub-par. The bill at the end of the day was over $400. I got surprised with a dessert and I thought they would give it for free since even chilis and most restaurants give that for free as a nice gesture but nope, it was on the bill. Don't waste your money or come here for an occasion because it's nothing special...

If burger is in the name, the burgers should be excellent every time. I ordered via Grubhub. The fries and mac'n'cheese were sooo good. But my burger was raw inside. Not rare, raw. I'm willing to try them again based on the other food. But I'll be eating in so I can send the burger back, if needed.

This steakhouse has been a Naperville institution for decades. The “Sure Thing” is a great deal for dinner. Includes salad, steak and desert. The “knockout martini” is an amazing cocktail to start your exceptional dining experience. The wedge salad is classic and the Filet with Gorgonzola butter is delicious. Banana foster desert is very good but the key lime pie is average.

Their steaks are always wonderful. They have a good drink selection. I wish the rest of the menu was as good. It seems like there is something in the rest of the dishes I don’t care for. The apps, don’t like the sauces. The veggies are bland or repetitive - 2 types of garlic mash, 2 types of spinach. Coffee whip cream on chocolate cake, it’s just not great. I go with friends, but probably would not choose it myself because it’s not a full menu for me.

The restaurant is situated at the downtown area and reachable by car where they have Valet service also. They serve steaks and also other varieties like fish also. The steak choices are not too many but meet the needs. The food is tasty and prepared according to the choices. The wine menu is satisfactory. They have a private room for special occasions also. I suggest for all occasions with reservations prior to your visit.

I've written a few reviews on Sullivan's over the years. It is almost always absolutely outstanding and this was no exception. My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived right at our reserved time and were seated promptly. The restaurant was only about half-full at the time. As more people trickled in we overheard the waiters congratulate two other couples on their anniversaries as well... quite the coincidence. I had a New York Strip. My wife had a small filet mignon. We each started with salads. We also shared three side dishes.....personally I love their mushroom side dish and put them on my steak. We also had a bottle of wine from the decent selection at multiple price points. If you want a fine dinner and are willing to pay the price, Sullivan's will provide it!

I've been to Sullivan's a number of times. My husband and I generally sit in the bar and have a good experience. I made a reservation for our 10th wedding anniversary this time since it was more of a celebration than just dinner out. When we got to the table, they had rose petals and a happy anniversary sign - which made it feel so special!! The service was great - the food was wonderful and they really made it a special evening for us. Thank you!!!

Went for 48th Anniversary last night. We ordered the Bone in Ribeye and Scallops with au gratin potatoes, Brussel sprouts, asparagus and 2 deserts, ( one competed. Service was average. Food was fair to poor. Steak was OK but with a terrible rub. Scallops "fishy". Potatoes were great. The other two vegetable were inedible. Deserts were uninspiring. We went there because we had a great lunch there earlier in the year. Will not return.

Went to Illinois to see my grandma last month. Best burger my family has had in a long time!

Not good at all. Burger was severely overdone and cold. Traditional fries did not come with steak seasoning or sauce as shown. Burnt end fries were missing half the toppings. Had high hopes based on the photos and the fact that the items were coming out of Sullivan’s kitchen…..don’t waste your money…
