Can't believe this place has only 14 reviews! This is an absolute gem, amazing dinner AND dessert. Had the best beef bourguignon I've had since visiting Paris, and the carrot cake is the best I've ever had! Amazing date spot, classy and cozy, it's a vibe.

Good food but BAD policies. First time visiting. Three of us had lunch there - all ordering wine, crepes and onion soup. But we wanted to share a dessert at the end and there is a $5 shared plate fee. We just wanted a plate and 3 forks. Nope! Still a $5 fee. We just spent over $100 and they wanted to charge us an extra $5. No thanks! We passed on dessert and I will not be returning.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My new favorite place for coffee and food, period. I will look for any excuse to come here again and again. The specialty coffee drinks are exquisite and warm the senses in a way that you just won't find elsewhere. The food is PERFECTION. Special shout-out to the Artisan Grilled Cheese, Chicken Cordon Bleu Crepe, the pasta salad, and the famous carrot cake. Everything is SUPER reasonably priced. The atmosphere is delightful and cozy and the service is top-notch. There are much more expensive restaurants in Chicago that aren't even half as good as this place. Honestly, if you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on one of the area's most incredible dining experiences!

Only comment I'll make is that it was early, restaurant was completely empty then waitress sat another couple RIGHT next to us having multiple other choices so we could hear their panic coronavirus conversation & we were trying to relax away from madness
