Great restaurant, you can tell by it being a 45 minute wait at 7pm on a Monday, luckily we had a reservation. Food was delicious and the menu is massive. Would recommend

As a vegan, I’m always on the lookout for places that offer more than just one or two basic options—and Blue Sushi in Naperville absolutely delivers! Their vegan sushi menu is incredible, creative, and full of flavor. I especially love their cowgirl roll—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is trendy but relaxed, and the service is always friendly and helpful. Whether you're plant-based or just looking to try something new, this spot is a must-visit. I always leave full and happy!

Very good vegan sushi options, always make reservations they’re usually busy on weekends. They have really good drinks as well. This has become a staple for my family when it comes to vegan sushi.

Went on a Friday night and sat at the bar. Great atmosphere, service and pricing! Food was good, but we felt the sushi menu had too many options, it was a bit overwhelming and some of the rolls seemed redundant.

Best Sushi Place for Vegans. Planta was my favorite before now this place is. I will be regular here. Prices are reasonable. Service is Super fast for Sushi place. They Will take their time to explain the Menu. Only Negative is that we waited around 5 minutes to get seated but that is Fine. The food, Service and ambience makes it up for it.

Offers a great variety of options, with plenty to choose from across the menu. The quality of the fish was above average, and I especially enjoyed the Thriller Roll, definitely the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was a bit loud for most of the time, but overall, it was a solid experience. Have a full gluten free menu. I plan to come back and try more dishes next time.

This was our first time to try sushi and we loved this place and options. Everything was really nice and tasty. Definitely recommend the crab rangoons with the amazing mango sauce and mushroom sushi!! Drinks were average though. Will visit and try more options next time. They have happy hour all day sunday so it was pocket friendly too

I was recommended this place by a friend, so I went with another friend who’s vegetarian. I’ve lived in Japan before, so I have pretty high expectations when it comes to sushi—especially in the U.S., where I’ve often been disappointed by the quality. Freshness, flavor, texture… it all matters to me. But I was genuinely impressed with Blue Sushi!

They have a huge variety of rolls, which I assumed was their specialty, so I went for those. I asked our server for a recommendation, and she suggested the Godzilla Bomb. It had tempura blue kani, bigeye tuna, yellowtail, togarashi, serrano, ponzu sauce, and sriracha—8 pieces of deliciousness. It had a great spicy kick, and the texture was perfect with a slight crunch inside. Definitely memorable.

What surprised me even more was the vegetarian rolls my friend ordered. I don’t remember the names, but I honestly couldn’t believe they were vegetarian. They looked just like regular maki rolls and tasted amazing. I even asked her if she’s been eating this kind of vegetarian sushi the whole time without telling me! 😂 The vegetarian menu is impressive—so many options, not just the usual two or three you find elsewhere. My friend was super happy we came here.

The only downside was the seating policy. They had plenty of empty tables, but walk-in customers (like us) were only allowed to sit at the bar. I get it if those tables were reserved, but even after we finished eating, they were still empty. That part felt unnecessary and honestly a bit silly. So if you plan on going—make a reservation online to avoid that issue.

Overall, I highly recommend Blue Sushi Sake Grill. Great food, great vegetarian options, and I can’t wait to go back!

This place is honestly one of my fave sushi spots. The apps, drinks, and sushi is so good. The all day happy hour on Sunday comes in clutch. Plus they have some genuinely unique rolls and sashimi.
