FUN casual place to gather with friends/fam. OUTSTANDING craft beer, craft beer cocktails, spirits/cocktails, including Adult Milkshakes. Great American-comfort-food fare. OUTSTANDING staff.

The staff was very friendly and the server (and bartender) was attentive to our party of 7. The place is noisy, even with a dozen people in it due to the open and industrial design.

I used to go to the Craftsman, which I thought was very good. I used to love their burger, fries, & their short ribs were amazing! The Barrel house was average at best. Food was pedestrian. Mainly sandwiches & a few entrees. Even our drinks weren't that great either.

Was surprised how quiet it was for a Saturday morning. Our server, Jordan I believe, was excellent. The food however was mediocre at best. I was with three others and we all felt the same about all of our dishes. Also, after ordering a benedict item, I was told they did not have hollandaise sauce. I really wanted to like the restaurant, but felt that it really missed the mark.

Food was not very good, service was very slow. Wait staff was working hard, but I think they they were very short. Long wait fir drinks and food. We had a table near front door and every time the door opened it was freezing cold. Singer was probably good but noise level was louder than singer.

Service was super slow. Table we sat at wobbled badly so we asked to move to another table which was better. Not a lot to choose from but the beer was good. Would only go back for drinks.

Great venue in a great area of Downtown Naperville. We had an early dinner reservation on a Saturday night (5:30 pm), so it was pretty empty when we arrived. However, it did fill up quickly right after 6:00 pm. It seemed like the waitstaff may have been a little overwhelmed with the number of patrons, so service was a little slower than I expected. Overall, though, it was an excellent spot for some awesome beer and delicious "bar food."

Drink and food selection a little uneven - precarious - two of our entrees were subpar - the chiken and the filet mignon sandwiches. The drinks were all out there, nothing ended up standing apart, a lot of the drinks tasted like coffee liqueur too much. Not sure the adult milkshakes really are anything extraordinary, just meh, like I couldn't really tell there was liquor involved. Lighting too bright for a nightclub, needs to be dimmed a couple shades. Server was very involved and spend lots of time helping us with the menu and returning to see if we liked our stuff and if we needed anything. Thankyou

So our party of 7 first timers at this location. Favorites of the Aurora location. First, we weren't thrilled for the server or us that they gave a party of 7 with someone who it was their first night. Not fair to her or us. Everything was very very slow. Not thrilled when we arrived that our table for 7 was not set up or ready. Even yhough they had called me in the afternoon to confirm 7 ppl at 6:00. Initial order for drinks took a very long time. When the drinks finally arrived we asked to order right away. Food took a very long time to arrive. Then we were waiting for the check which took a very long time. We had to ask another server walking by to assist since we are now late to a show that we had purchased tickets for. Granted we asked for separate checks which takes longer than one check, but again assigning a brand new server - first night on the job for a party of 7 with no help was no Bueno. So even though we enjoyed the food and drinks, it left us all with a not so very positive experience.

It was our first time to the Two Brothers Barrel House. We had an early reservation so it wasn't crowded at all--which was rather nice. My husband and I shared an appetizer which was okay to good. I had another appetizer for my entree which was shrimp on a skewer. That was very good. My husband had the meat loaf entree and he really liked it! Our server was very pleasant, friendly and efficient! All in all, we will go back again sometime.

The shrimp appetizer wasn't fully cooked, were small for what they were serving, had no flavor. The service could have been better and more attentive. And those chairs are awful to sit in!

Kitchen was understaffed and it took about 45 minutes to get our order. Waiter made many apologies but made no effort to make the situation better. I emailed the restaurant a week ago about the poor experience but heard no response. It's probably a nice place to drink good beer though. The food is not memorable.

I went there with the mistaken thought it would be like the location in downtown Aurora. It is nowhere near the quality or selection. The drink was so heavy handed I couldn't drink it, and I'm not a lightweight. The pretzels were greasy from the cheese and dry inside. We didn't bother ordering the dinner we planned to, we went to another place down the street as we didn't want to risk more undesirable food and drink.

It was okay. The pictures look much more hyped than what it really is or maybe we were seated upstairs which had no crowd and just felt boring for our group of 6 people. We went on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday but felt like we were there for a quiet dinner and our table was the only one talking. Food was ok. Bar burger typical american food -- nothing wow about it. Drinks were okay too. I had ordered a Mexican mule. I wouldn't recommend this place for people. There are other places in downtown way better.

I selected this restaurant based on the photos and menu linked on Open Table. The restaurant has since changed. The third floor bar was the same but the restaurant is now basic bar food: burgers, a few sandwiches. I was embarrassed because I had invited people out for my birthday dinner and frankly we could have gone to chili's if I had known this was the menu and the ambiance was what it was. Their walls are now covered in fake wood board and barren like a old basement would be. I specifically picked this place because of how it looked and the menu. I recognize I should have looked at their own website to be sure. Further, the food was just ok. They claim to have a cheesy pretzel twist. It's not pretzel. Just bread. Everything else was just ok. The service was slow and our server lacked personality and what personality she did have was sassy and not in a good way.
