I just paid over $18 for a burrito including a 99 cent charge to add cheese and sauce on top. There was barely any sauce at all. I don't recommend making it suizo just to add cheese you can barely taste and no sauce. I basically got a burrito which is a tortilla with some lettuce and lots of carnitas meat. There was barely any refried beans. They smeared it in the tortilla so very little I had to really look to see if they even put any on it. She had asked if I wanted sour cream and sauce too and I said yes, but never received it in my bag in drive thru. I drive off without checking my bad. I had asked how many churros you get for the $5.99 price and she said 4. It ended up being two actual churros in there regular size cut into 4 pieces. I would never had ordered the churros for that price. When I was in school our foreign language teacher would get churros from a man and it would be 25 cents for one long churros or 4 for $1. Even downtown Chicago the guys will sell you a churro for $1 outside the museums. I felt like icecream should have at least been included at that price. Now I remember why I haven't eaten here since they opened. The prices for most items are way overpriced even for this economy right now. I'd rather go to El Famous Burrito where I know their burrito has a balance of all the fixings. So just don't order churros from here for $5.99 it is a rip off. This will be the last time I visit sorry just because for the price it is not worth it to me. I feel so ripped off. The other day I had two full meals for the price I paid today from Johnny's Red Hot dogs place. You can even get a whole large pizza from Dominoes with two toppings for $10 for less than what I paid today. The only thing I can honestly say about this place that I remember from the first time was the free refills on horchata. This is the only place that lets you do that.. and that could be the only reason I would ever return if I wanted to sit inside and just talk to someone and gorge on horchata. Also the burrito meat and portion is great I just wish they had the right amount of cheese lettuce sour cream and beans in it too. The carnitas meat could be a little tastier too, but I am part Mexican and I know what I am saying here.. it is good- but it could be even better. The service is great and courteous so keep up the good job there. I know inside is kept clean too. This is not a romantic ambiance place, but a semi fast food place inside. A great place to take the family.

I've only had the burrito here, and it's really good. They have a pineapple coconut horchata that I've never seen anywhere else, so a lot of times I choose that.

My husband and I grabbed lunch at Burrito Parrilla Mexicana in a week day. We were looking for something quick and hearty, and not a burger-type drive thru. We had driven past this spot and bookmarked it on our "to try" list in the neighborhood. We were so glad we finally had the chance to swing by. We dined in and ordered: 3 taco dinner* (steak, chicken, carnitas) steak burrito 2 fountain drinks *dinner = with rice and beans for a few bucks extra Their set-up inside is fast casual. Order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you. Drinks are self-serve. Our meal came with complimentary chips and house made salsa. The salsa was so good I could drink that stuff. The server also brought out 3 more bottles of salsa (salsa verde, a ghost-peppery spicy one, and a smoked chile one); I don't know the actual names of them but they were a trio of the best flavors to add to your meal. They have horchata and agua de piña (pineapple water) in these self serve clear tubs where you'd typically see iced tea, lemonade, or some sort of slushie. I had 3 full-cup refills of the pineapple water (!!!) because it was that delicious. This might also be called their piña colada drink, I am not 100% sure. It's sugary, yes, and perhaps I was extra thirsty but the drink had little bits of pineapple pulp which was so so good. It was so refreshing and I've never had a drink like it before. Order a fountain drink and get it if you're here. For my 3 taco dinner, I chose to get a chicken taco, steak taco, and a carnitas taco. You can choose your protein and steak is 50 cents extra per taco. I got the "dinner" add on with rice and beans to make it a meal, and you can choose from refried beans or black beans. Everything was tasty and the food came out quickly. If I had to say one thing that wasn't really a thing is that the lime wedges that came with my meal had no juice. It's one of those limes when you squeezed, the pulp was all for show. The limes were dry and had no juice but I didn't bother to request more limes. Their trio of salsas that come in bottles (that they'll bring to your table with your food) is all you really need imo. My husband got the burrito and we said out loud between our bites, "I can see ourselves being regulars at this place." Next time I'd love to try their tortas and guacamole. We will be back!

Drive Thru very nice. Food was very fresh but not seasoned well. Food missing acid. and 1 large Jalapeños w the meal would be nice. Chips were not homemade.

I have to be honest. This is not a bad place, if you are gringo. This reminds alot of tex-mex style of food. The salsas seem bought at store, not very spicy, as a mexican this is a must for me, especially if they have tacos on the menu.Secondly the prices, quite on the larger side, given you are getting a good decent amount, especislly with my order of tacos, but the meat overall is just ok.Its not terrible but i feel it could use more flavor. For me, this is probably my last time coming here, as a person who consumes mexican on the daily, my taste buds did not approve, nor did my wallet ?Pa los mexicanos, mejor cocinen en casa, le sale mejor provecho

When in doubt, our favorite burrito spot near home!! Everything is always delicious, we particularly love their burrito's and tacos. We have tried almost all the meats (Chorizo we are coming for you next time), and have never regretted it.They use reliable ingredients, you always know exactly what you are going to get. We have never encountered questionable bits you can sometimes find when you order steak or pork at other places. The steak and chicken have a subtle grilled taste without any hit of heat (if heat is your thing, they got sauces for that). If you are looking for something on the sweet and mild side, their Al Pastor is a solid choice. You can never go wrong with carnitas or ground beef but their refried beans often compliment the grilled chicken and steak in ways that downright delight.TLDR: You are in good hands no matter what, just order something already.
