3/2024 UPDATE. In just one year, this place is more like Olive Garden than a top tier chef restaurant. Much now seems brought in frozen-prepared. No life in dishes. This was my rating a few years ago: This version of Catch 35 has improved immensely! Kudos on presentation and flavors. Excellent service by Joe at the bar, where we chose to eat.

Visited "Catch 35" recently on a date and had a great time. The staff were very courteous, helpful and respectful. They explained things well, and made great recommendations. Hats off the the chef, the best cooked scallops I've ever had. All the dishes were delicious and my date loved it too. My only complaint would be the serving plates; they made the serving portions look small.

Shrimp undercooked. Sent it back twice. The quality has gone down considerably in the last 4 years. Lost a touch of class by getting rid of the tablecloths

We drove 130 miles to enjoy a Valentine Day lunch. The afternoon crowd was not overly busy but the waiter seemed to be slow getting to our table to get our order and bringing food out. He may have been new or having problems with the kitchen. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and will probably visit again in the future.

Been here multiple times even before the new revamp of the menu. Trey was a nice server but a bit on the slow side. We got wine which he was struggling to open. Not sure if he’s new or not, but Catch 35 should really train their waiters on this especially the price and atmosphere that is established here. We got octopus, half oysters, Chilean sea bass which was awfully small for the price and lacked flavor, tuna tostadas and a pad Thai noodle dish. The bread took forever to come out and both the bread and butter you had to fight with it to make it the right consistency. We also got a key lime pie to finish off the night. Don’t think we will be back Catch 35 I’m sorry to say, but you guys have really gone downhill in service and food for the last 12 years. It’s way too overpriced as well for what you get

This was our favorite place for many years. We took a break to experience other places in the area. We were so excited to try the new menu; but we left disappointed with the lack of server knowledge with your menu- the quality of food did not meet our previous exceptions with your restaurant and to finish off the server lacked in wine knowledge and in opening a bottle of wine. Unfortunately we will not be interested in returning. You should really look back at the high quality servers you had- they were so prepared with menu options and suggestions!

Good seafood place, solid service and great ambiance. Javier was a good server. Their seafood chowder is delicious and their pan seared sea bass melts in your mouth. House margaritas was ok.

I was fully aware that the pricing of this menu was on the higher end($80-100 per person.)I ordered a cesar salad as a starter. significantly worse cesar salad than red lobster, twice the price and half the size. to drink I had an old fashion because it's my go to drink when I'm out. 20 bucks. unimpressed. I ordered the ribeye with whipped potatoes. $70-80 plate. texas roadhouse serves a better plate for $30. my partner ordered the salmon which was solid. all in all, high range prices for a very unimpressive, middle of the pack restaurant. the environment was not all that. packed in with no privacy. bottom line, I don't think I'd recommend this place to anyone and I certainly don't believe I thought I had any reason to go back.

Maybe it is me, but seafood pasta should be done with linguine. This dish looks vague. Maybe I am wrong. Did not like it. The sous was not creamy very watery. Lobster tail very poor looking dish.
