Used to be a regular… it’s been about year. What a change! Menu changed and selection is mediocre. Mediocre describes the food as well - very bland, and almost tasteless. Bone off ham was spongy. A turn off.
Server disappeared. Atmosphere was ok. A true disappointment.

New management? Very poor quality of food. Pretty much a tasteless breakfast meal. I guess it’s for the elderly who don’t eat spices or spicy things. Non existent service. Waters walk around with a blind eye. Won’t be back.

A++ for food, service and atmosphere. Tried the loaded chicken and waffles. It was soooo good and worth every penny. It was very light on the stomach and not overly sweet. Flavor was amazing. Atmosphere was peaceful and simple. Loved reading about the long history of this 4th generation family business.

Maybe it’s a cultural difference but the food was not good. No seasoning or flavor and was served at room temperature.

Been coming here for years (photos are extremely old but food is so good we feel blessed) Definitely great for breakfast, my personal recommendations are the chicken and waffles, french toast, or the crepes. For lunch I will again recommend the chicken with ranch and fresh squeezed lemonade. And then for dinner I recommend the salmon with pesto and spinach.

They have amazing icecream too, you can even get some pints to take home with you. Very creamy and yummy.

Went here last night again on a date and I think the waitress recognized me because without even asking she just brought over some boxes. And my date joked she probably knew I rarely finish my food because I’m a slow eater, so we thought that was kinda funny and sweet of her.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extensive menu executed brilliantly. The monterey avocado omelette (with bacon and avocado slices) earned high marks. Veg head skillet with sweet potatoes and havarti was perfectly seasoned, and the cinful cinnaroll pancakes are delightfully decadent. Coffee needs work though - underwhelming with an aftertaste. The booths are a bit rough in the design and noise department; do yourself a favor and opt for a table instead. Great service and cool “I ❤️” t-shirts worn by the staff. You know what we ❤️? That magical ice cream menu!! Read our full Southwest Suburbs Breakfast Club review online (see bio).
