My wife takes my daughter here frequently so my daughter asked if we could stop today. She knows a manager there but he was not in today. We ordered from the guy (2 small Blizzards). He made my daughter's and was making mine when my daughter yells "Eeeeww!". There was large hair in it. I said to the worker "I'd like another one, please" but my daughter waved me off and she thinks it was on her spoon but either way she told me to let it go. Never ONCE did the employee acknowledge it, comment on it, or even offer to remake it. He gave me mine (a chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard) which was a soupy, melted mess...I didn't realize until after I left that there was barely any cookie dough in it. It looked like it had stood outside in the sun for 15 minutes. I made a comment to my daughter about "wasn't he supposed to turn them over when he handed them to us? Isn't that the gimmick?" Mine would have immediately resulted in many towels and possibly the mop being involved. I'd like manager/owner to know that they need serious work on the customer service skills of their employee. I'm certainly not going back to this location. Overall nasty experience rather than a nice summer treat.

The employees were not communicating, so they were being terribly inefficient. They were making the ice cream as the person was ordering it, then taking payment. But the two of them weren't working together so they were helping one person at a time and switching off the register. The most annoying thing- I had a bogo free blizzard coupon. Since she made my blizzards first and then told me they didn't take the coupons, I had to pay full price for both. I really wanted to say no- I'm not paying for those. But I'm nice so I didn't want them to be out all the ingredients for the two large blizzards I ordered. They were unkind and I had a negative experience here. Never had such a bad time at a DQ. Don't go to this one!!

This is the location I am referring to:1002 N Washington St, Naperville, IL 60563Poor customer service-bad attitudes-rudeI went to this Dairy Queen, Sunday 6/4/23 around 6 pm. There was a big guy employee with a bad attitude. He was so rude to everyone that came in. A dad came with his little boy and got an ice cream cone. The little boy dropped it and the dad went to throw it away. I suggested to go in and tell them he dropped it thinking out of courtesy they would give the poor kid a new one. The big guy told the dad, NO and to buy another one. The father walked out and threw the dropped one away. I asked what happened and he said they wouldn't give him another one. I went in and asked for a manager which of course there was none there. The big guy looked up and asked if I had an issue, really. I said yes, that little guy dropped his ice cream cone and I came in to get another one. The rude employee told me no, you need to pay for it. We will NOT go back to that location ever again!!!!!!

This place is wonderful! These days I am used to going to a Restaurant that is full of chairs and booths and so many other things. But I showed up here, and the set up was very simple. The restaurant has seats outside with no umbrellas. Personally I could see this being a problem if it were raining, but on a sunny day like mine, it's perfect.The prices for many things have shot up between 2020 and today (2023). So the food was pretty pricey compared to years ago. But the service was still solid when I asked for their recommendations for ice cream and they were quite kind.I recommend this place on a warm day, with little rain or wind!

My 5 year old dropped his cone right next to the register. The manager immediately stated kids do that all the time, that we would have to buy another one. No problem, I purchased one.
