The food is good. It's not the best I've had, but it's worth going back to when I'm in the area. The service was great, very friendly and quick.

Nice guy. Cool spot. Food was mid. Got the Al pastor burrito dinner. Smallest amountof rice and beans. Burrito was weak. Not seasoned at all. Basically just full of lettuce and nothing else. Not even spicy. Got Salsa picante and it was weak. Honestly really disappointing. Won’t come back. Unless they pick it up somehow. Damn dude. This place used to be great.

My mother and I have been ordering from this place for years. (Unsure where some of the lukewarm reviews are coming from). They’ve upped their prices over time, but so has everyone else. They have the best cheese enchiladas I’ve ever eaten and the quality is consistent. They don’t always answer their phones and the drive-thru can be a bit of a wait even when you’ve called ahead. But man, is it tasty. If you are in a pinch for some late-night Mexican food, this place hits the spot.Vegetarian options: Quesadillas, enchiladas, breakfast burrito, seafood tacos

El Hogar has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for years! Every meal has been excellent.
Prices are high like everywhere else. Taco salad, two tacos, and coke was $23, but portions are good and food is great, so a safe bet.

The definition of "bland". To be fair, the food has never been "bad", but it just tastes like...nothing. Even the sauces. The location is convenient to me, so once every two years or so I'm like "It's been a while, I'll give El Hogar another try," and every single time the only thing I can say afterward is "Well, I now have food in my stomach. I'm not hungry any more."

Good authentic restaurant. My husband has been coming here forever! He normally brings home their salsa which is like liquid fire but you just cannot stop eating it We both went in today and got their enchilada dinners which was very yummy! A hidden gem for sure!!
