Going to Famous Dave’s for the first time today, I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place pictures coming soon

This is where you go if you enjoy getting sick, like heavy coatings of salt on Vaseline covered fries, enjoy fishing old noodles out of yellow colored sour milk, enjoy your coleslaw oldy and moldy, and you really want to punish your toilet.

One of the worst delivery experiences ever. Ordered two entrees and two sides from this place. The burger and the sandwich were passable. However, all the other items were awful and gross; simply inedible. The mac n cheese actually tasted SOUR and bland, the coleslaw was clearly old (mushy and bitter), and the fries ($3.99 for not even a handful of fries, like 10 pieces) were DOUSED in a bucket of salt. We ended up tossing all of it out. I’m not sure if the B team is working the kitchen today or what, but I never would have spent the money if I knew the food was this bad. I will stick to the Addison location going forward.

They had a great Bison Burger asked for it medium and got it well done. But it was good either way so I'll still give an overall 5 stars. Where this place really shines is the overall atmosphere of the place. That and our waitress was very polite and attentive to our needs. As for the food we got some about noon. And they were still on the ball when it came to service. It only took maybe 15 minutes to get it on the table. Can't ask for anything better than that. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

I think this was the location. My company got this for us for lunch and the food was great. The barbecue sauce didn't drown the food and was a little sweet too, which I love. The ribs and pulled chicken were incredible. Before, I wasn't a fan of barbecue food, but I am from this place at least.

Very, very confusing! It’s inside another restaurant without signage. Also, famous Dave’s gift cards are not accepted!😡 just skip it. Totally weird!

This was not authentic Famous Dave's in Naperville. Spare ribs were baked and over cooked. Beans were good.

Very nice atmosphere, I was there for a wedding party celebration. The food reminds me of eating TGI Fridays. But after a few drinks who cared. I had fun with friends and family, which was the most important.

Called to make reservations, said didn't need any, not busy. After arriving, not a famous Dave's, only sell food for carry out.

I actually love Famous Dave’s I’ve been a repeat customer for years. They closed during Covid in my town and never returned, so we have to go a little further. This location is sharing a spot with another restaurant so it’s pretty much online orders and take-out. With all that being said, I will not give it a 5 because they do have some insufficiencies, one main is customer service. The food is good but the last time I ordered hence this review, the beef brisket was dry and the rotisserie chicken was burnt and they gave dry white meat.

Not a real Famous Dave’s! Weird to say, I know…I’ve been too many famous Dave’s across the US and this one by far was the worse, their ribs and oven roasted chicken tasted bland with minimal flavor, and they both tasted like they were pressure cooked. Trust me, try another FD restaurant for your bbq cravings.

I have been a long-time customer at Dave’s BBQ, but the closest location to me shut down, so I have been visiting the Naperville branch. I've noticed that the quality of the ribs has been inconsistent. They are always overcooked, as if they've been sitting in an oven or crock pot for too long. However, there was one occasion when the ribs were absolutely perfect and delicious, I went back the next day and AGAIN overcooked! This inconsistency has left me frustrated and feeling like I'm wasting my money. I really want the quality of the ribs to match the Famous Dave’s brand but it seems like this Naperville location just isn't delivering on that promise.
