1st time in & quite obvious, the dining area hadn't been swept, tables/seats were dirty & I hesitated to even sit down. I don't know how the cleanliness got ignored but my guess is that's how the place normally looks. It didn't seem like there was a manager on duty. Scarry to say the least. White castle collapsed for the same reason, rampant neglect.

The 1-star reviews are totally unwarranted. Freddy's makes great burgers and fries. I've thoroughly enjoyed my meal each time I've gotten food from Freddy's, and it has been a handful of times so far.
The triple steakburger and the chili cheese fries are my go-to items. I like the fact that you can totally customize your toppings when ordering ahead on the website/in the app, as I'm the type of person that loves stacking a few extras on.

Really sweet old lady at the counter! A family had a huge birthday party and despite that, the manager kept running around asking if we were all right and taken care of! Most importantly it was FRESH!

Good Lord, Naperville reviewers are harsh. I used to get Freddy's all the time in Arizona, so I was excited to hear a location was opening here. Love their food and shakes! Sounds like they had some bumps in the road getting things working smoothly at this location, but people are too harsh with the 1-star reviews for every little thing. I've picked up dinner several times now and every time it's been great.

The burgers here are awesome, that classic dinner smashed burger taste.
The options are varied and you can customize but I recommend that you try it their way on the menu, you won't be disappointed. The fries are stick like but very tasty, and I finished mine before my last bite of my burger.
Going to return before the secret is out and the lines start to build.

This place is seriously underrated and doesn't get the love it deserves. Ignore the hate as this spot outshines any fast food chain. It's usually quiet with no lines, so it's a peaceful dining experience, and its retro '90s vibe adds a nostalgic feel. The managers are also nice. Their burgers, turtle sundaes, and onion rings are 10/10. I took my friends, fam, they all liked it. I guess they've been around for a while and have always been one of the ogs in smashburgers. This location opened up near me, so I tried it out. My first bite of this smashburger was good as hell .crispy skirt, juicy, and full of flavor, especially with that jalapeño fry sauce. I hate typical fast food burgers because they taste artificial. This spot is a hidden gem for me

Tried Freddy’s for the first time during my lunch break. Went through the drive thru.
The young women taking my order was thoughtful, helpful with professional. I ordered a double California burger meal upgraded to cheese curd instead of fries.
Total was $14.32. Food was great fresh and hot started eating the cheese curds right away .The order was correct and was even asked if I would like sauce for my cheese curds. I would come again. Customer service was great.
