Oh my!! The food was so amazing and the service was so great. Alex was our waiter and he was amazingggggg!!! Definitely recommend going here. The chimichanga was so good, and they loaded my taco up with so much chicken and cheese and lettuce. Sooooo good! Alex is the best!

It was about 20 minutes when she finally took our order in an almost empty restaurant at about 1 pm. The chips were stale. Makes me wonder about the rest of the food. She got my order wrong. She didn’t offer or give the three kids meal drinks that were included. All six meals had cold sides of rice and beans. She never brought my glass of wine. Someone else eventually did when we were almost done eating. She padded the bill. And when we brought all this up to her the only response was a polite sorry and then the bill shortly after while she stood over each of us while we selected our tip percentage. What a bummer. Do better!

Won't be coming here again. I've been coming here my entire life but live in Los Angeles now. I'm visiting for the holidays and was going to take the Metra all the way to Naperville to go to Front Street. Read the reviews and saw the photos and decided to stay in the city. There are so many reviews of people who have been coming for decades who have decided not to return because the atmosphere and quality of food has tanked. It seemed like it was one of the last original unique places in downtown Naperville.
I came about 5 years ago and it was everything I wanted, The ambience, the neon beer signs, the mexican artwork, The fake stucco building. It was timeless It didn't need the millennial redo. The prickly pear margarita was phenomenal and so were the enchiladas.
I I don't know if I have a reason to ever go back to downtown Naperville now. I guess there's always Potters.

Last minute plans to stop in without reservations. Was a lil skeptical for a Saturday night. They did not disappoint, staff was accommodating and the food was great! Recommend the pomegranate margaritas!
Honestly as a server and bartender at front street, I’ve never worked a more strenuous job. Double plated ceramic platers at 3-5lbs a peice I was lifting 30-40lbs above my shoulders

It's over twenty years since I last came here, and although it's sadly been remodelled as more like a 'sports bar', the food was excellent, as was the service. Thank you very much!
